Chapter Twenty-Seven

Eren tried to transform but Reiner threw him to the ground, while still tightly clutching onto me in the other hand.

As soon as Eren is down Reiner softly lets me down to the ground, I stare at Eren his titan is steaming with the arms broken off and jaw dislocated.

I take a seat on the ground placing my hands in my hair and I can still feel the braids intact on my head, it makes me think of Mikasa.

How she must be raged knowing Reiner took her Eren, as I think of her I hear the noise of wind and it's coming in fast.

I raise my head only to be met with Mikasa and she's not taking her time to get to Reiner, I don't do anything because she won't be able to harm Reiner with these baby blades. No matter how skilled she is she'll just get herself hurt.

She'll just get hurt.

"Mikasa, stop!" I scream from where I sit on the ground but she's not listening, she is too blinded by rage.

The only thing I can do is stop her myself, I know for a fact Reiner won't listen to me so there is no use talking to him, so I do the only thing imaginable. I throw my gear onto one of the trees swinging my way in the direction of Mikasa.

She doesn't see me causing me to be able to grab a hold of her while she is in the air, she screams out as we both go tumbling to the ground.

She reaches for her blades to draw them at me, but I clasp both of my hands over hers.

"Please, listen to me!" I exclaim while looking her dead in the eyes, she doesn't see me she's not listening all that is going through her mind is Eren.

"Reiner doesn't care about you! Your blades won't pierce a thing on him, so please just stop! You're going to get hurt!"

She throws me from her, and my body tumbles a couple of meters from her, she grits her teeth at me and then is off flying all the way up to Reiner.

I frown upon seeing that as I can't do anything I watch as Mikasa continues to stab at Reiner, but she isn't getting anywhere. The ground begins to shake my body shaking left and right with it, everything goes still for a moment, and then a loud scream is heard. The wind from the scream scatters debris into my eye.

But I don't need to see to know what is happening, Eren has gotten up he is going to try to take Reiner.

As soon as that thought pops up in my head Eren is sent flying to the left, as Reiner just landed a hit on him. Mikasa had already fled from beside Reiner, but I have yet to leave.

My feet can't even move before Eren is already off the ground and yelling at Reiner, I cover my ears watching as blood spews from his mouth. "No! Back down! You can't win in a fist fight! Make a break for the wall! Eren please, don't be rash!"

Armin's yells fill my ears causing me to uncover them, I look back to the area of his voice. He is swinging on the wall his chest quickly moving up and down as his breaths are uneven, his eyes quickly catch mine he doesn't even take a glimpse at me. The second he sees me he moves his head back to the fight; I place my focus back on the titans feeling enraged as Reiner did this to me.

He made me feel this way, he made me feel small again like I don't have a voice. And now Armin is even further from me, to begin with.

I take a seat on the ground right in front of the fight, I don't have the will to get up and walk away I mean no one told me I could so why should I?

Eren is blinded by rage not letting Reiner get away from what he did, but he can't. He won't be able to lay a hand on Reiner.

As Reiner goes in for a punch Eren takes a different approach, he bends below Reiner and swoops him to the ground. My eye goes wide, and I watch it's Annie's move it is what our father taught us.

Eren continues to scream as he rips off Reiners's arm, I watch as it zooms across my head landing with a loud thump on the ground.

I stand up seeing as Reiner is now down Eren on top of him screaming I shouldn't help Reiner, but I have to like Bertholdt said it's what I was sent here for.

"Eren stop! Get to the wall they're going to abduct you!"

I hear Armin yell from behind me as I turn around, I see Mikasa with her blades pointed towards me I go to kick her, but she jumps on top of me. Her blade to my neck as Armin watches, my eye meets his gaze, but he doesn't look away this time.

I don't say anything as she deepens the hold of the blade on me, "You're a traitor!"

She screams in my face the look on her face and Armin's is enough to make me start sobbing harder.

"Kill me."

That is all I muster out as her face quickly turns soft Armin's too, she loosens the grip on her knife but I grab back onto it the blade cutting my hand up, but I don't scream I just continue to look in Armin's eyes.

The look alone is enough to make me want to die.

"Please."

Neither of them mutters a word and they can't because someone drops down beside us, "fall back you two!" He yells to both of them Mikasa looks into my eye one more time as she drops her dull blade on my chest, she grabs Armin's hand and swings off with him.

I stare at the sword; I don't think at all as I pick it up slamming it into my right leg as I yell out.

I let out one loud scream as I continue to slam in and out of my leg, I continue to stab it until the blade can no longer cut and my leg is red and gushing blood.

I cry out loudly my throat feeling as if it is on fire, but I can't stop and I won't. My scene has caused everyone to stop what they are doing, including Reiner and Eren.

I fall back to the ground sobbing out incoherent words.

I can feel myself going in and out, my right side is completely numb I can't feel anything, but I can hear large footsteps coming towards me.

I can't do anything but accept my fate, I start to close my eye but it jumps open when I feel a hard arm wrap around me.

It's Reiner.

I start to move in his hold, trying anything to get free from him but it's useless. He opens his mouth as I move closer to it, I cry harder I don't want this.

But soon the darkness consumes me.

I just want to be free.

A/N

At the end Adelita was crying and screaming because she knows Reiner is putting her in his mouth to keep her safe, not to eat her. She wants to die because of the look Armin gave her she can't live knowing he doesn't like her, which is why she stabs her leg because she wouldn't be able to walk if Eren came and ate her in his rage. Hope it all makes sense!
