Chapter Sixty-Six

Hange worked out a plan it was brilliant, and we're executing it right now.

I sit on my knees beside Yelena and Onyankopon, with multiple raging Jaegerists beside me in a circle.

I'm a Marleyan. Everyone knows that about me, and Hange used it to their advantage.

The plan was for me to disobey orders, saying I am a Marleyan and I'm proud to be one. That I could never be a Jaegerist and just be all-around disrespectful to Floch. Which was easy because I can't stand him so, I wasn't acting.

But, because of my behavior, Floch has taken it upon himself to kill me in front of everyone. Since all three of us are terrible people in his and all the other Jaegerists' heads.

"Comrades of the Empire, thank you all for joining me! We are gathered here for the execution of these three. They both admitted to opposing the Eldian Empire! And in removing these disloyal elements from our midst, we're taking our very first step towards realizing Eren's dream of world domination by declaring Eldia's uncontested rule over Paradis!"

Loud cheers are heard after Floch's speech, damn can these idiots get any stupider.

"This criminal is Yelena. She took up arms and opposed Marley. She lived among us and fought at our side, but she did not fight for us! Her loyalty was to Zeke and Zeke alone! She sought to turn the Founder's power against us and wipe the Eldian people from Earth!"

"She was nothing but another filthy Marleyan from the start!" Someone yells, as more people continue to yell hateful words.

"Thankfully, Eren was able to defeat Zeke and put an end to his traitorous plan. Nonetheless, this criminal served as Zeke's puppet every step of the way!"

"Marleyan whore!" A man yells out causing me to scoff, is that all they can call women?

"Send her to hell!"

Finally, Floch pushes the gun to the back of her head.

"Well, Yelena? Any last words you'd like to share?"

"Would you get it over with?"

Her response starts an outrage within the people as they all start yelling.

"Shoot her! Shoot her! Shoot her!" They chant as Floch places the gun down from her head.

"It isn't time yet!"

Then I feel a gun slammed into the back of my head, I wince and shut my eye from the pain.

"This bitch is Adelita Leonhart, a lot of you know her. Sister to the Annie Leonhart, the Female Titan. Both their goals were to capture Eren and take him back to Marley where he would be killed. To hell with both of them!"

He screams, slapping me in the side of the head with the gun once again.

"Adelita played nice she made friends here, even a lover. Only to betray them all, what a sick bastard?" He comments laughing at me with everyone else, how I wish I could do something, say something slick but I can't. This has to go right.

Floch lowers his head now at my level, where I can see his sick grin.

"How would Armin feel? His girlfriend betrayed him once again, and now she's about to be murdered."

I take a deep breath trying to ignore him, but he only continues.

"Who knows, maybe I'll kill him next."

The cheers and Floch so close next to me makes me say something, I can't bite my tongue any longer.

"Where's the pathetic boy I knew, the boy who watched everyone he knew die? Where's that crybaby?"
