Chapter Seventy-Four

The plan has switched up, now we are beginning to sail out of here and then we will work on the flying boat. We're just under too much pressure to do it now.

Mikasa and my goal was back to plan one, protect the Azumabito and anyone working under them.

We stand on opposite buildings waiting for all of them to make a run for it, both of us ready to protect them with our lives. Not like we will have to try hard, seeing as the Jaegerist leader is Floch.

My eye scans over where the previous hostages ran from, gunshots being fired left and right but not a single one hitting a target.

Not wasting a second, I move leaping off of the building I took refuge in.

Mikasa isn't late to arrive either, as the only people shooting are the ones at this building. As the others were too busy with Annie and Reiner.

Her foot falls right into the face of a gunman, as my gear shoots straight into a man's head.

Both of them fall down without a fight.

Floch is enraged by our actions and begins to shoot. Mikasa and I flee from the roof, both of us move in zig-zags as Floch tries to get a shot in, but it doesn't look too good on his part.

All of the people that still have their life flee with him.

While we on the other hand go to sit and wait for what else is to happen.

Mikasa sitting a little away from me as Commander Hange stands behind us.

My eye watches as the Azumabito try to run as fast as they can, but these Jaegerists are shooting so crazy.

Reiner placed himself in front of them to take the majority of the hits, it looked good until they brought out the Thunder Spears.

Reiner can't play defense and offense at the same time it shows as Annie has to come in to help the Azumabito.

My eye grows with each move she takes. I can see it, I can see how slow and crappy her attacks are. Maybe it's from how long she has been away, but it doesn't look like that to me.

She's tired. She's truly sick of this.

In all of the chaos Annie throws her hand over the Azumabito, she's desperate and it's only thing she can think of.

But she isn't amour like Reiner.

Her hand is severed from her arm as she becomes swarmed by the Jaegerists, their Thunder Spears lining up to her face.

She's stuck, her face frozen like a naughty child who just got caught misbehaving. I've seen many faces but it's been awhile since I've seen such fear written on her face.

Thankfully she doesn't get hit. Reiner took the blow but all that does is put us down another person to help.

Smoke catches my eye as I turn my head. The sight of a train nearing us is spotted, Hange didn't miss it either.

"Reinforcements! Damn it! Unless we do something about them, we'll be killed along with most of humanity."

Mikasa and I walk to Hange's side as we watch the train come closer.

Orange and red fill the air as bits of the train spread everywhere like rain.

Sweat drops down my face as my mouth opens.

The train just exploded before our eyes.

But we don't even have enough time for that as more explosions are heard.

My heart drops as I move from the building, the explosions from Thunder Spears that just decapitated my sister.

"Adelita, wait!" Mikasa screams as I keep moving, her words mean nothing to me. I can't let some waste of space Jaegerist kill my sister, not even will I let them kill Reiner.
