Chapter Fifty-Four

I was woken up by a bunch of talking, I groaned listening to the conversation.

"What's that all about?.. It's called the Attack Titan. That's what you just did, remember?"

I hear Hange's loud voice; I roll over in the bed in my cell covering my ears.

"No." Eren voices out, only causing Hange more confusion.

"Huh?! Come on! He did! Am I the only one who saw him?!"

"No, but... I think he was just-." Armin tries to say but is interrupted by Hange. "Just what? Who the hell were you talking to?"

"No one, it's nothing." Eren says plainly, "you said the name of your titan, right? Are you practicing ways to introduce him, or-."

"Let it go, Hange. He's fifteen years old. We all go through a phase like this."

I finally get up from the bed annoyed with how loud they are, I don't care how late it is in the day I want to sleep.

"A phase where we mutter weird crap while posing?"

I place my hands on the bars watching the scene unfold, Eren has been doing this since he found out about his dad's history.

In the basement he found out the origins of where his father is from, it's ironic because it's the same place as me.

He revealed multiple things about the Titans and their powers and where Eren got his from, Eren revealed that someone who holds the power of Ymir and is a titan only has thirteen years left to live.

Nothing that I didn't know.

But then it sunk in, Armin only has thirteen years.

I remember when Annie first became her titan. I cried for her because I thought she would leave me; I was scared of being alone.

And now she still isn't with me, I ended up without her in the end anyways.

"Hange, I'll explain it to you later. It's not right with him in here." Armin says trying to get them to stop, but they only get louder.

"Huh? Oh! It's that kind of phase."

"What the hell do you want?!" Eren snaps screaming at Hange, causing me to jump a little. If I wasn't fully up, now I am.

I watch as Captain Levi opens the cell and commands Eren to get out. "What? But I still have ten days left."

"I'm satisfied, Hange just gave you ten days worth of pain."

"We talked it over with premier Zachary, so don't worry. If we keep the brave heroes who toppled the Armored and Colossal Titan jailed, it kind of sends a bad message, you know? Plus, you were only defying the morons. Who has the Beast and Armored Titans at their mercy but let them get away!"

The captain walks over to my cell and quickly unlocks it, I step out yawning while doing so.

"I'm kind of sick of being placed in cells."

I tell him while I begin to place my hair up, leaving out a section in the front to cover my missing eye since I removed my eyepatch.

"Then you should behave." He tells me while Hange turns towards me.

"Yeah, I'm sick of it. One more strike and I swear all that hair is gone."

"I'll keep it in mind," I tell them while I walk to Armin, placing a soft kiss on his cheek while he turns red and looks the other way.

Hange only pulls me away from Armin as the captain begins speaking.

"Hurry up and get dressed."

"Wait, where are we going?" Eren asked the question were all thinking.
