𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 | 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭

Chapter Forty-Eight

We've finally reached Shiganshina, it's our job to protect Eren from any danger, or when our enemies come.

Everyone was commanded to keep their hoods over their heads, just so it's harder to spot Eren. I did my own hair today; I didn't want to bother Mikasa, and she didn't come to me to do it. So, I just suspected she doesn't want to speak to me.

Mikasa was granted to stay with Eren while he goes to plug the hole in the wall, the rest of the Scouts have to wait on the wall.

I take a seat on the edge of the wall my legs dangling off of it. I watch Eren place his hand into his mouth, he quickly bites himself creating huge yellow light to fill the area. But as quickly as it came it is gone, and instead hard blue crystals fill the hole.

I watch as Mikasa swerves down grabbing Eren from his now-hardened Titan, "the enemy could strike any second! Stay on the lookout!" Hange commands a soldier as he nods and hops off the wall.

"Everyone, head for the inner gate! And keep your faces hidden!" Hange commands to us again, everyone follows their orders, and I do the same.

Eren is in the lead to head to the inner gate as we all follow behind him.

But halfway there a red signal stops all of us. "That's the signal to halt the mission!" Someone mumbles as Hange turns to look at all of us.

"Everyone scatter and stand on top of the wall!"

We retreat from where we once were, I swing myself back to where I previously sat watching as many other Scouts scale the wall.

Armin is the leader of it.

A green smoke signal is shot into the air, my eyes trail to the man who shot it.

"Right here! This part of the wall is hollow!" He screams out, my eye widens as I watch the man be stabbed straight through the heart. And the person with the knife is Reiner.

The second Reiner steps out of the wall Captain Levi is already there, his sword slicing the side of his neck.

I hope it goes through.

Only it doesn't Levi loses his stance on Reiner causing him to drop to the ground, and instead of dying or being even the slightest bit weak. Reiner thrashes around, as yellow fills the area.

I should know better, it's Reiner.

The wind blows some of my hair back as I watch the Armor Titan appear on the ground right in front of me.

"Keep your eyes open! We still need to find his allies!" Commander Erwin yells to all of us, and then we see it. Lines and lines of transforming Titans, and at the center of it all is the Beast Titan.

He throws his hand back as a huge boulder comes our way, but instead of hitting the top of the wall, it breaks what Eren just fixed.

Erwin shakes his head, throwing his sword out as the Beast Titan stares at us his eyes beaming red. Same as the other Titans behind him.

My eyes linger on Reiner, who now has sharp hardened nails. He dashes to the wall beginning to climb.

"You are not yet to engage the Armored Titan! Maintain a safe distance!"

"Yes sir!" We all yell in response as Reiner climbs higher, my eyes examine the Titans standing with the tall Beast Titan. But my eye widens as I see the Cart Titan, I haven't thought about her in a while.

I wonder if she thinks about me.

I am brought out of my thoughts when I hear a loud roar, I look ahead and see the Beast Titan has hit the ground causing it to break. Now all the other Titans begin to move.
