Chapter Seventy-Seven

Two years ago, Shinganshina district.

"Addy, don't cut off too much."

I roll my eye being annoyed by Armin's request. "When have I ever cut off too much?" Armin whips his head back nearly causing me to drop the scissors.

"You cut the front too much higher than the back last time! I looked terrible!"

I smile softly leaning down to kiss his forehead, "well I thought you looked handsome, and I should be the only person who thinks that."

"I would hope so." He mutters finally turning around to allow me to start.

It's been some time since we had visited the sea, and in the time since our regiment has given us a break. Seeing we finally succeeded in something and were only going to grow higher in our accomplishments.

This is more like some time to give us more training, and build back the many towns that were broken down in lots of our fights.

Only recently we finished finally fixing the train tracks Eren broke, and because of that Captain Levi and Commander Hange finally gave us some more time to rest until we're back to training and thinking of more ways to get the upper hand.

I'm pretty sure Commander Hange with their squad is trying to come up with some new idea for gear, something that will give us the upper hand in the new battles we'll come into contact with.

Because of that we were all given some type of housing, a lot of us could have chose to house together since they're still a lot of citizens still living here. Majority of the girls are grouped together while the boys are too.

Armin and I tried to convince our leaders to let us stay housing together, but they weren't trustworthy of us and refused it.

A slight laugh falls through my lips as I begin to think about what they worried about, they were very fearful of the fact that we could do scandalous acts in their words.

Meaning they were afraid of us having sex. I think it may be too late to worry about that.

"Okay! I'm all done, what do you think?" I ask placing the scissors down as I lay my hands on his shoulders. "Looks better than last time." He comments making me hit him lightly, he begins to laugh before shaking his head.

"I'm just playing, it looks the best. I have the most talented girlfriend."

His lips curl into an even bigger smile as he continues to play with his hair, "Yes! I did so good with only having one eye."

Each time I believe I'm getting better and better, the only reason I cut Armin's hair is because whenever he decided to go short we both cut our long hair together, he did mine and I did his.

So ever since it's just been that way.

"Okay, my turn!" Pushing Armin out the chair I take his seat, and begin to take off my eye patch. It took me awhile to feel comfortable to have Armin see me without, once I realized though that he's seen me with less clothes I became more comfortable.

Seeing me naked is nothing compared to a nasty scarred wound on my face, but he didn't mind.

And he made sure to make it known.
