"Noah, wake up."
"What's wrong?" Puck mumbled sleepily.
"We need to talk." Quinn answered.
"Now?" Puck muttered.
"Yes." Quinn said, carefully sitting up and turning on the light.
"What's wrong?" Puck asked as he sat up and looked at Quinn.
"What the hell are we doing?" Quinn wondered.
"What?" Puck questioned Quinn.
"With the kids." Quinn said. "What are we doing?"
Puck looked at Quinn. "The kids are fine. They're asleep."
"No, that's not what I'm talking about." Quinn said as Max jumped up and laid by her.
"See? Even Max knows you're getting all riled up." Puck stated. "What are you freaking out about?"
"There's so many of them." Quinn pointed. "They outnumber us now, and two of them are under age two and-"
"Quinn." Puck cut Quinn off. "Take a deep breath and pet Max."
Quinn inhaled slowly and exhaled as she pet the golden retriever.
"We can handle this." Puck reminded Quinn. "We've been handling it for weeks."
"Yeah, but still." Quinn said. "That doesn't scare you?"
"The only things that scare me now are breaking my sobriety and watching my family get hurt." Puck admitted.
"Everybody's been so focused on me and my recovery from the c-section, we've hardly even checked in on you." Quinn realized. "And you've been so incredible to me and the kids. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, Q." Puck insisted.
"You brought up your sobriety so I just wanna make sure if you need something, you know you can talk to me." Quinn said.
"I'm not gonna break my sobriety." Puck swore.
"I'm not worried about that." Quinn promised. "I trust you and I believe in you."
Puck smiled slightly.
"We never really talked about what happened." Quinn added.
"With what?" Puck asked.
"With Lucy." Quinn answered. "When she was born."
Puck furrowed his eyebrow.
"How it felt for you." Quinn clarified.
"Nothing happened to me." Puck pointed out.
"You watched me almost die." Quinn said as she took Puck's hand. "You're allowed to talk about that."
"I don't wanna talk about it." Puck responded. "It was scary and horrible, but you're okay."
Quinn nodded.
"I've already talked to my therapist about it." Puck added. "I'm okay."
"Okay." Quinn echoed. "I love you."
"I love you, too." Puck told Quinn as he kissed her cheek. "Now get some sleep, babe. We have a ton of kids to take care of."
"Shut up."
"Goodnight."
