Period (Puck/Hudson)

"Beth's being mean." Hudson complained. "I asked her to drive around and she said no."

"Leave Beth alone." Quinn said, giving Puck a look.

"Where do you wanna go, buddy?" Puck wondered.

"I wanna get ice cream." Hudson noted.

"I'll take you." Puck decided as he grabbed his keys. "Go get your shoes, okay?"

"Okay." Hudson smiled before running off.

"I got this." Puck promised as he kissed Quinn lightly before walking out the door.

"Before we go inside, I wanted to talk to you about something." Puck began, unbuckling his seatbelt and looking at Hudson. "Come sit up front for a sec."

Hudson nodded and got out of the car before climbing in the passenger seat.

"I know you and I have started to talk about some guy stuff already." Puck said. "But I wanted to talk to you about some of the girl stuff since you have three sisters."

Hudson looked at Puck.

"Girls get something called a period every month." Puck told Hudson.

"What's that?" Hudson asked.

"A period is when they aren't having a baby, so they bleed a little each month." Puck explained.

Hudson looked at him, confused.

"Each month, their bodies prepare to get pregnant." Puck said. "And if they don't, their body gets rid of that preparation by bleeding out their vaginas for a few days."

"A few days?" Hudson repeated. "That's crazy."

"Yeah, it is." Puck agreed. "And sometimes they're in pain or get moody and irritated for those days."

Hudson nodded. "Is that why Beth's being mean?"

"I think so." Puck nodded back. "Do you have any questions about that?"

Hudson paused and thought about it. "Do Lulu and Grace bleed, too?"

"They will when they're older." Puck said.

"Does Mommy?" Hudson questioned Puck.

"She does." Puck replied. "When Mommy had each of you guys in her belly, she didn't."

"You said Beth is in pain." Hudson noted. "Can we help her?"

"We can try." Puck suggested. "We can get her ice cream and leave her alone when she wants to be alone. And be extra nice to her, see if she needs anything."

"Okay." Hudson agreed. "Let's go get Beth a big ice cream sundae!"
