"Noah."

"I got you. You're doing great, babe." Puck coached Quinn as he wiped her tears away.

"I can't feel anything." Quinn said.

"Well, that's good." Puck noted. "It means the epidural is working."

"No, I can't feel my arms or legs." Quinn told Puck.

"What?" Puck asked.

"I can't move anything." Quinn cried.

"Okay." Puck nodded as he squeezed Quinn's hand. "Uh, doc? She's numb."

"That's okay."

"No, I mean like paralyzed numb." Puck clarified. "She can't feel her arms or legs."

"Yes, that's okay. That's normal."

"Are you sure?" Puck wondered.

"It'll wear off. She's fine. She's doing great."

Puck looked at Quinn.

"Something's wrong."

-

"How do you feel now?" Puck asked.

"I still can't feel my legs." Quinn answered. "Noah, I can't end up back in a wheelchair."

"The doctor said it'll wear off." Puck reminded Quinn. "We just have to wait and see."

Quinn frowned.

"You're doing great, babe." Puck smiled as he kissed Quinn lightly. "The baby will be here soon, and then you'll start feeling better."

Quinn looked at Puck.

"I love you."

"I love you, too."

-

As soon as the baby was born, they cut the cord and laid him on Quinn's chest for a few minutes while they cleaned up the delivery room.

They took him to clean him up and swaddle him before putting him back in Quinn's arms and clearing out of the room.

When Quinn was alone with Puck and the baby, she looked at Puck. "Can you take him?"

"When you're done." Puck nodded.

"Take him." Quinn repeated.

Puck carefully took the baby and held him in his arms, grinning happily and proudly.

Quinn watched Puck with their son and started crying.

"Hey, it's okay." Puck told Quinn as he comforted her. "He's here. It's all over."

Quinn shook her head and took a deep breath. "I can't feel anything."

"The doctor said it could take some time." Puck reminded Quinn. "Why don't you try to get some rest and see how you feel when you wake up?"

"My arms are still tingly." Quinn stated. "I couldn't even feel him in them."

"Were your arms tingly before?" Puck asked.

"No." Quinn said.

"Okay, so that's good, right?" Puck questioned Quinn. "They're getting feeling back?"

"I guess." Quinn muttered. "But my legs are completely numb."

"They're gonna start to feel better." Puck promised. "You're exhausted, babe. You just went through labor and delivery."

Quinn shook her head and started crying again.

"Alright, here." Puck said softly as he put the baby in Quinn's arms. He gently took Quinn's hands, cradling them around their son. "It's gonna be okay, babe."

"I can't be back in a wheelchair, Noah." Quinn responded as she looked at Puck.

"Let's forget about that for a second, okay?" Puck requested. "Look at our son. Really look at him."

Quinn bit her lip and nodded slowly as she looked at the baby. She smiled slightly as she studied the baby.

"He's perfect, Q." Puck stated.

"He looks like you." Quinn noted, looking at Puck.

Puck shook his head.

Quinn grinned as she kissed Puck. "I love you."

"I love you, too." Puck told Quinn. "And you're gonna be okay. I promise."
