"Hey." Quinn said softly as she exited the bedroom and found her fiancé on the couch. "Come to bed. It's late."

Puck didn't say anything, and Quinn realized the TV was off. He wasn't playing video games like she thought.

"It's late." Quinn repeated as she gently grabbed Puck's arm. "Come inside."

"Q, I gotta talk to you about something." Puck blurted as he looked at Quinn.

"You can talk to me about anything." Quinn responded.

"I've been thinking about this since you told me you were pregnant." Puck began.

Quinn furrowed her eyebrow. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah." Puck promised. "I just... I don't want our son growing up with parents who fight or hate him." Puck told Quinn.

"Hate him?" Quinn repeated. "Are you having second thoughts or something?"

"I'm talking about me." Puck clarified. "I don't want our kid to grow up like I did."

"Noah." Quinn said softly as she took Puck's hand.

"I've been talking to my therapist about this." Puck added. "And you know, just trying to do whatever I can be a good father."

"You're gonna be a good father." Quinn told Puck. "I know you are."

"I wanna be involved." Puck responded. "I wanna be around for you and him, and I wanna support him. Basically, whatever my parents did, I wanna do the opposite."

Quinn nodded slowly. "Where is this coming from, Noah? Because I'm not worried about you at all."

"I don't wanna be like either of my parents." Puck stated. "I don't wanna mess up our son."

"You're not gonna mess him up." Quinn promised. "I mean, look at your sister and at Beth. You had a hand in both of those."

"Yeah." Puck muttered. "But this is different."

"I know there's gonna be a learning curve for both of us, but you're gonna be a good dad." Quinn swore. "He and I couldn't have asked for anyone better."

"You really believe that?"

"Of course I do."
