Duet (Quick)

"You wanted to ask me something?" Quinn wondered, looking at Puck.

"What?" Puck furrowed his eyebrow.

"You were trying to ask me something." Quinn reminded Puck. "Right before you met Biff."

"Oh, yeah." Puck nodded. "I was thinking we could go to Breadstix to go over duet ideas for glee club."

"Like a date?" Quinn asked.

"Yeah." Puck responded.

"Pick me up at seven." Quinn requested with a smile.

"Cool."

"Did you mean what you said in the locker room?" Quinn blurted as she put her menu down and looked at Puck.

Puck looked at her.

"When you said you love me." Quinn added.

"Do you wanna go out with me?" Puck wondered.

"We're out." Quinn noted.

Puck smiled. "As my girlfriend."

Quinn bit her lip.

"You can take time to think about it." Puck told Quinn. "No pressure."

Quinn nodded. "Thanks."

"In the meantime, we should talk about duet ideas." Puck decided. "'Cause I have a few in mind."

"Thanks for dinner." Quinn smiled as Puck got in the car. "I had a really good time with you."

"Yeah, me, too." Puck agreed. "I haven't heard you laugh like that in a while."

"Yeah." Quinn nodded.

"Do you wanna come over?" Puck asked.

Quinn raised her eyebrow.

"To work on our duet." Puck clarified. "Besides, my sister's probably home."

"Okay."

"Okay."

When they got to Puck's house, he led the way inside.

"Hey, Sarah."

"Hi, Noah." The brunette responded from her comfortable position on the couch.

"Hey, Sarah." Quinn said.

Sarah sat up and looked at Quinn. She got up and ran to greet her with a hug. "Quinn! Hi!"

Quinn laughed lightly as she and Sarah parted. "It's good to see you, too."

"Wait a minute." Sarah said, looking from Puck to Quinn. "Are you guys back together?"

"Quinn and I are just working on something for glee club, okay?" Puck explained.

"Okay." Sarah repeated, unconvinced.

"Did you have dinner?" Puck wondered, eyeing the bowl on the couch. "Popcorn doesn't count."

"I ate already." Sarah answered.

"Okay." Puck said. "Quinn and I are gonna go upstairs to practice."

"Practice." Sarah repeated with a smirk. "Sure."

"Sarah." Puck scolded. "Sorry, Q."

Quinn was smiling at the siblings' banter. "I've actually kind of missed this."

"Let's go upstairs."

Quinn and Puck rehearsed for a while.

"It's getting late." Quinn noted. "I should go."

"I'll take you home." Puck said.

"Okay." Quinn replied, and she and Puck went downstairs.

They got in the car and Puck began driving.

"You picked a beautiful song." Quinn noted.

"I just thought it was a good choice for our voices." Puck stated.

"I had a lot of fun with you today." Quinn added. "I almost don't even wanna go home."

"You'll see me tomorrow." Puck said, glancing at Quinn.

"Yeah." Quinn nodded.

Puck parked the car in front of Quinn's house.

Quinn looked at Puck. "You've always made me feel safe and like myself."

Puck looked at Quinn.

"When I'm with you, I don't feel like I have to hide anything." Quinn added. "And I wanna be with you. As your girlfriend."

"Really?" Puck asked.

Quinn nodded. "I know long-distance isn't easy, but nothing's ever been easy for us."

"Yeah, if there's anyone who can make it work, it's us." Puck said.

Quinn smiled. "We're really gonna do this."

"Come here." Puck requested, gently cupping Quinn's cheek and kissing her.

Quinn squeezed Puck's hand as they finished their duet. She cupped his cheek and pulled him in for a kiss.

Puck wrapped his arms his arms around Quinn and deepened the kiss.

When they parted, they remembered they weren't alone.

Everyone was staring at them.

Quinn smiled happily. "Noah and I are dating."
