    "Oh my god, that's so lame." Sam noted. "Watching a girl propose to a guy is so... What's that word when you don't feel manly anymore?"
    "Emasculating?" Mercedes asked.
    Sam nodded. "Yeah, it's like watching a dog walk a human."
    Mercedes furrowed her eyebrow.
    "We should go inside." Sam said, taking the tickets out of his pocket. "I want a corn dog."
    "Okay."

    "Kiss cam!" Sam exclaimed as he watched the screen. "I hope they put us on it."
    "Sam." Mercedes shook her head.
    "Come on." Sam replied. "It'll be fun."
    Mercedes looked at Sam.
    "How come you're not having fun?" Sam asked.
    "I am." Mercedes insisted with a nod. "But-"
    "There we are!" Sam interrupted as he cupped Mercedes' cheek and kissed her. He pulled away and cheered as he looked back at the kiss cam.

    "That was such a good game." Sam said excitedly. "And we won!"
    "Yeah." Mercedes agreed.
    "Okay, what's wrong?" Sam wondered.
    Mercedes looked at him.
    "I know you're not that into sports, but you barely said anything the whole time we were at the game." Sam noted.
    "Do you remember when you said it's emasculating when a girl proposes to a guy?" Mercedes asked Sam.
    "Yeah." Sam said.
    "I was going to propose to you tonight." Mercedes replied. "At the game."
    Sam looked at her.
    "I know we've talked about getting engaged, and I know how much you love the kiss cam, so I thought about asking you." Mercedes stated.
    "Mercedes, I'm really sorry." Sam apologized. "I had no idea."
    "It's okay." Mercedes insisted. "Maybe you're right, maybe it's stupid."
    "Ask me." Sam requested.
    "What?" Mercedes wondered.
    "Ask me." Sam repeated with a smile.
    "Sam." Mercedes sighed.
    "It's not stupid so I'll do it." Sam decided as he knelt down on one knee. "Mercedes Jones, will you marry me?"
