"Mr. Schue proposing to Miss Pillsbury is pretty romantic, huh?" Puck said as he walked over to Quinn at her locker.
"It is." Quinn nodded.
"It got me thinking." Puck continued.
Quinn raised her eyebrow.
"About us." Puck said.
"Noah." Quinn shook her head as she closed her locker. "We're in high school. Neither of us are old enough or mature enough to commit to a marriage."
"But isn't that the goal here?" Puck asked. "Don't we wanna get to that point?"
"I do." Quinn answered. "Of course I do, but I don't want us tying each other down while we're still young."
"Tying each other down?" Puck repeated. "Don't you think a baby does that more than a marriage certificate?"
"Just because we have a baby together doesn't mean we'll always be together." Quinn pointed out. "I mean, look at our parents."
"We're not our parents." Puck noted. "You only want me if you don't find someone better."
"That's not true." Quinn shook her head. "But since when are you so focused on marriage?"
"Since Mr. Schue was talking about it." Puck shrugged. "He said he's been in love with Miss Pillsbury for so long and it got me thinking of us 'cause we've had a good thing going on here."
"You said we're not our parents, but we're also not Mr. Schue and Miss Pillsbury." Quinn pointed out. "I don't wanna be anyone's first marriage. I wanna be the one and only marriage."
"We've always been able to work things out." Puck noted. "And we care about each other. We've always had a friendship before a relationship."
Quinn bit her lip.
"I love you." Puck said. "And I'm not saying we have to do anything tomorrow, but we should have a conversation of what we want."
"I love you, too." Quinn told Puck. "And I wanna get married someday. I want one lifelong marriage, and I want more kids."
"Really?" Puck asked.
Quinn nodded. "And the reason I know that I want that is because I can see myself having that with you. We make a good team and I know we can handle all of that. Someday."
"Someday." Puck repeated.
"Someday after I get my college degree." Quinn clarified.
"You sure you'll still want me then?" Puck asked.
"I promise I will."
