Coparenting (Quicketh/Jake)

"You're late." Quinn noted when she opened the door.

"We got caught up in something." Puck replied as he led his brother into Quinn's apartment.

"Well, now I'm late for an appointment." Quinn said. "So hurry up."

"I'm sorry." Puck apologized. "Is all her stuff ready to go?"

"It was ready by six, like we planned." Quinn answered.

"Do we have to fight every single time we see each other?" Puck muttered.

"I asked you for one thing, Noah." Quinn said. "I'm sick of planning my life around yours."

"What are you talking about?" Puck wondered.

"I make plans and then I have to push them back or cancel because you can't do what you have to do." Quinn clarified.

Puck furrowed his eyebrow.

"I could take you to court for full custody." Quinn added. "I would win, too. They'd take one look at your record, and they'd give her to me."

"So do it." Puck dared Quinn. "And then when she grows up and stops speaking to you, you'll know why."

"Fine." Quinn said. "Then be on time, so I don't have to yell at you."

"I already said I was sorry." Puck noted.

"Yeah." Quinn nodded. "Well, Beth thought you weren't coming. So why don't you go see her while I double check her bags?"

"She's in her room?" Puck guessed.

Quinn looked at Puck.

"Okay." Puck muttered as he walked away, leaving Quinn alone with Jake.

"Quinn, I'm sorry Puck's late. It was my fault." Jake stated.

"He knew he was supposed to be here at six." Quinn noted as she dug through Beth's bag. "He should've prioritized her."

"I know, but he was helping me with something and-"

"He's late when he's not with you, Jake." Quinn interrupted. "I know you're trying to help him, but don't, okay? Not with this."

Jake nodded slowly. "Well, I'm still sorry."

Quinn nodded back. "You can use this as a lesson to always use protection. And when you inevitably get someone pregnant, don't follow your brother's lead."

Before Jake could say anything else, Puck returned with Beth.

"All set?" Quinn asked.

Beth nodded as she walked over to Quinn. "Bye, Mama."

"Bye, B." Quinn smiled as she crouched down and hugged Beth. "Be good."

"I'm always good." Beth smirked as she and Quinn parted.

Quinn grinned and kissed Beth's cheek as she stood up. Her smile faded as she looked at Puck. "I'll see you on Wednesday."

"See you on Wednesday."
