"Q."

Quinn picked her head up and smiled slightly. She stood up and hugged Puck, instantly feeling comforted in his arms.

Puck rubbed Quinn's back until they parted.

"Thanks for coming." Quinn said softly.

"Of course." Puck replied. "I'm sorry you're going through this. How ya doin'?"

Quinn shrugged.

"Anything I can do to help?" Puck offered.

Quinn shook her head. "I'm okay, but thanks. It's really good to see you."

"You, too." Puck said. "Not under the circumstances."

"I know." Quinn agreed softly.

"When's the last time you had something to eat?"

Quinn went to answer, but Puck continued.

"A real meal, not some crappy fast food or frozen dinner."

"I... I don't know." Quinn confessed.

"Can I come over later to cook something for you?" Puck offered. "And if you're up for it, we can talk and catch up."

"Are you sure?" Quinn asked.

Puck nodded.

"Okay." Quinn said. "Yeah, it could be a good distraction for me."

"Okay." Puck replied. "Text me what you're in the mood for and when you want me to come."

"I will." Quinn promised. "And thank you."

-

"Hey." Puck said when Quinn answered the door.

"Hey." Quinn repeated. "Come in."

Puck entered the Fabray house and looked at Quinn as she closed the door behind him. "Are you hungry? I can start cooking now, or if you wanna talk, I can cook later. Whatever you want."

"Can we talk for a little while?" Quinn requested.

"Sure." Puck nodded. "Let me put these bags away."

"Okay." Quinn nodded back as she sat down on the couch while Puck excused himself and went to the kitchen.

When Puck returned, he joined Quinn on the couch.

"What are you doing here?" Quinn blurted.

"We agreed on six o'clock." Puck noted.

"No, what are you doing in Lima?" Quinn asked. "How do you know about my mom?"

"Finn called me." Puck answered. "I figured I'd come check on you."

"You didn't have to fly all the way across the country for me." Quinn said. "I'm fine."

"You're not." Puck shook his head. "But it's okay. No one expects you to be."

Quinn took a deep breath. "My mom is all I have."

"You have me." Puck pointed out. "And all our friends."

"I know." Quinn said. "But it's been really hard to watch her deteriorate these past few months."

"What are the doctors saying?" Puck asked.

"They're just trying to make her comfy at this point." Quinn shrugged. "I've thought about calling my dad and my sister to come say their goodbyes, but I don't want them around."

"Do you feel bad about that?" Puck wondered.

"No." Quinn replied. "Should I?"

"After everything they've done to you? No." Puck told Quinn. "But it's okay."

-

"Noah." Quinn said softly as she entered the kitchen after showering. "Thanks for dinner."

"Anytime." Puck smiled. "I put the leftovers in your fridge."

"Thanks." Quinn repeated.

"Everything is cleaned up." Puck noted. "It's getting late. I should probably take off."

"Noah." Quinn said softly.

Puck looked at Quinn.

"Will you stay over?" Quinn requested.

"Are you sure?" Puck asked.

Quinn nodded. "I don't wanna be alone tonight."

"Okay." Puck nodded back. "Let's get you into bed."

"Okay."

-

"Mom, I'm here." Quinn said as she squeezed Judy's hand. "I got you."

The room remained silent, other than the beeps of the machines Judy was connected to.

Quinn wiped tears from her eyes and took a deep breath. "I'm gonna go grab a water bottle from the cafeteria, but I'll be right back. And Mom, Noah's here to keep you company. Be nice to him."

Puck smiled sympathetically as Quinn excused herself and left the room.

"Noah."

"Mrs. Fabray?" Puck furrowed his eyebrow.

"Take care of Quinny." Judy requested softly as she reached for Puck's hand weakly.

"Don't worry about Quinn." Puck said, taking Judy's hand and holding it. "I got her, I promise."

"She'll need you." Judy added. "She loves you."

"I love her." Puck replied. "She's gonna be okay. I'll look after her."

Judy nodded slowly. "Thank you."

Puck nodded back and held onto Judy's hand. He stood with her until Quinn returned.

"Hey."

"Hey." Quinn repeated as she entered the room. She furrowed her eyebrow at the sight of Puck and Judy. "What's going on?"

"Nothing." Puck answered. "I just didn't want her to be alone."

Quinn smiled slightly. "Thank you."

Puck smiled back, though it quickly faded as the machines started beeping.

"Mom?" Quinn asked, walking over and taking Judy's hand from Puck and squeezing it. "Mom, it's okay. Stay here with me."

"Quinn." Puck muttered as the doctor and nurses entered the room.

"Mommy." Quinn cried. "Please stay here with me."

"It's okay." Puck whispered, pulling Quinn into his arms. "It's okay. I got you."

Quinn shook her head. "Mom, please."

"Q, you gotta let her go." Puck said, tightening his hold on Quinn. "It's gonna be okay."

Quinn looked at her mom before looking at Puck.

"She loves you." Puck reminded Quinn. "Okay? But you have to let her go so she's free of pain. Can you let her go?"

Quinn shrugged and wiped her eyes.

"I got you, Q."
