But, everything changed when I met him. Loize Ramirez, the one who went beyond my standards or should I say that he is the standard.
Flashback
"Bakit ka ba kasi nag-HumSS? I thought you wanted to be a doctor." Rap said habang papasok kami ng SHS building.
"Kung kailan grade 12 na tayo saka mo pa natanong yan?" I replied in disbelief.
"Eh taksil ka kasi! Usapan natin nila Katherine we'll enter med school together!"
"Hatid ko nalang kayo sa gate." I said while laughing.
"Mag-shift ka kaya?"
"I'm happy with my strand." I confidently answered.
"Nasan na ba si Katherina!" Rap said while checking his watch.
10 mins nalang kasi ay magsisimula na yung 1st subject namin. I decided to call her but I saw her na papalapit na sa amin at hindi lang siya nag-iisa...
"Ay kaya naman pala late may kasamang gwapo!" Sabi ni Rap habang kinikilig pa.
"Katherine!" I said while waving at her.
"Sorry I'm late. Ang bagal kasi nito eh" Sabi niya habang hinihingal.
"Boyfriend mo?" tanong ni Rap.
"Cousin, lumipat sila ng house for business purposes so ayun lipat school din."
"Rap, but I prefer babe." Natatawang sabi niya.
"Mahiya ka nga!" Pabulong na sigaw ko sa kanya.
"Hoy, Talliah bakit ka namumula dyan?" Nangaasar na sabi ni Rap.
"Pasok na ba sa standards?" Gatong pa ni Katherine.
I can feel my cheeks burning right now. I was just surprised na someone is taller than me and I find it attractive. I am 5'8 and noong Junior High School kami at iilan lang talaga yung kasing tangkad or mas matangkad sakin and mga loko-loko pa.
Tinitigan ko lang sila ng masama and I adverted my gaze to Katherine's cousin. "Hi, I'm Talliah." I offered my hand and he accepted it.
"Loize." he said.
Bakit ang pogi ng boses niya? Ang tangkad, gwapo and mukhang may sense naman kausap. Siya na ba yung sisira sa self love ko? Is he the one?
"Tara na, ma-late pa tayo!" Katherine said habang inaayos yung uniform niya.
"Anong strand niya?" Tanong ni Rap
"Stem, classmates tayong tatlo!" Bigla namang umakbay si Rap kay Loize.
"Hi seatmate!" he said while gigling. "Una na kami Tally!"
"Mag-shift kaya ako?" Seryosong sabi ko.
"No, hindi, 'masaya' ka dyan di ba?" Nangaasar na sabi ni Rap.
End of Flashback
It's already 2 am in the morning pero di pa rin ako makatulog. Bakit kasi hindi niya nalang inabot yung cap ko? Bakit sinuot niya pa sakin?
I rolled on the right side of my bed and tried to close my eyes. I can't sleep. Parang naamoy ko pa rin siya.
I don't like strong scent na perfumes ng guys yung parang sobrang manly ng smell because I easily get dizzy with it.
Another thing na gustong-gusto ko kay Loize is yung scent niya na parang he is always fresh from the shower.
Pagbukas ng mata ko ay nakita ko yung cap na naka-sabit sa likod ng pinto. I can't do this anymore. Umupo ako sa kama to get my phone on my side table.
I scrolled on my ig to help myself to fall asleep but I found myself searching his username

Di ko naman ma-view yung following niya cause he won't even accept my request! I was about to message Kathrine pero almost 3 na pala. Tsk.
I clicked on message and started to type.

Alam ko naman na hindi to sasagot. I just send a message to him out of impulse. I was about to turn off my phone pero nanlaki yung mata ko bigla.

Napayakap ako sa unan ko nang mahigpit
TallyCrz: Sino yung fino-follow mo?
loize_rmz: Why do you ask?
TallyCrz: Why aren't you accepting my request?
loize_rmz: Why would I?
TallyCrz: Why are you answering me with questions? Di mo ba ako sasagutin?
loize_rmz: Nanliligaw ka ba?
TallyCrz: Excuse me? Wait, whattt?!
I was speechless for a second when a notification pop into my phone.
loize_rmz accepted you're request.
Nabitawan ko ang cellphone ko at nagpagulong-gulong sa kama habang tumitili.
"Ate, why? What?" Kinakabahang sabi ni Gale habang namumungay pa ang mga mata.
"H-he accepted m-my request and we t-talked." Di makapaniwalang sabi ko.
I've sent that request a week after I met him during our first day noong grade 12 kami. Nagtataka ako dahil he accepted Rap's request and ako hindi! Like why? Maybe because alam niya na I have a crush on him or what pero...ngayon?
"Who?" Gale asked.
"Loize..." I said habang di pa rin makapaniwala.
"Ahhhh"
Anong 'ahhh', yun lang? Ang tagal ko tong hinintay! Level up na ba ako? Crush niya na rin ako?
"G-Gale, nababaliw n-na ako. Yung puso ko ang lakas ng tibok tapos parang sumasakit na ewan. Ang saya ko na parang naiiyak."
"Congrats and good night." Sabi niya habang humihikab palabas ng pinto.
I was left alone while staring at the wall nang maalala ko yung 1 following niya.
I immediately tap it at laking pasalamat ko nang makita na he made an account for his dog Sami and he just followed it.
Loize Ramirez, I swear magkakaroon ako ng sakit sa puso sayo!
