Chapter Ten
                          EMMA POV:

Sleeping in the master bedroom that is now in the house I have decided to move in with Christopher all this time. And I woke up just as it turned nine thirty. And I could tell that Christopher was passed out. He lied next to me in the bed, lying on his back, his forearm lying across his forehead. He was breathing very gently, and I had actually looked at him just as I sat up, moving the sheet back.

I actually like to watch him sleep. And here he is just looking beautiful as he does when he sleeps. I could just lie beside him and just watch him sleep. And then I had smiled to myself about how he sleeps. I had then got out of the bed very quietly, hoping I won't wake Christopher. And then I had taken quite some time by actually just getting out of the bed and walking into the master bathroom and I closed the door behind me.

I had seen how exhausted I looked. I'm probably looking this bad because Christopher and I decided to stay in San Diego for hours in the night in that meadow. We kept having sex and going for three whole rounds. And then after, we finally left at five in the morning. And then we took the long drive to Los Angeles and we had both knocked out to sleep the second we hit the bed. We were both over tired. Well, at least I was.

I had washed my face and then I had fixed myself to look nice. I'm dressed in my white silk nightgown that is super thin and short. I had then put some lotion on my legs to smooth them. And then I had put on some morning cream for my face. And then I had left out of the bathroom and I saw Christopher still passed out, and I had grabbed my silk blue robe and put it on and I left it untied and I had decided leaving out of the bedroom and I closed the door behind me quietly.

And I had walked down the stairs and I made myself down into the kitchen, and I had seen how empty it was. I looked across seeing that both dogs bowls were empty. I had decided on filling their bowls up and the water bowls up. Both Marshmallow and Pepper went eating their food immediately, and I had decided to turn on the kitchen lights and I had decided to take a look into the refrigerator to find something to make for breakfast. Like what could Christopher possibly have in the fridge? And when I look, I find a lot of options.

I had decided on making multiple things for breakfast. And I know Christopher, he'll eventually come down here. Because he'll wake, noticing that I'm gone and he'll come find me.

I had the mixing bowl, and I started mixing the flour and mixed the the two and half cups of water and eggs into the batter and by mixing it to make pancakes. I actually enjoyed with the making of the kitchen and I did the only thing by putting on Christopher's Bluetooth of music. And this was usually the one thing I liked to do. I liked to make breakfast right after I get up. And now that I'm actually living with Christopher, I can cook all the food I want in this kitchen for him. Christopher is gonna love the food that I will cook. He will go to his classes that are San Francisco, and then working close by. And when he gets back whenever, I will definitely have the food ready for him. I feel like I can make a good housewife.

I had made quite a big batter of pancakes. I flipped them on the frying pan that was cooking on the stove on the island. And I had stacked them onto the plate. And then I had started cooking the scrambled eggs and then the bacon and sausage. And I knew the house smelled great. I made toast. And then I set the table for two. And then I had brewed a nice cup of coffee in the coffee machine. And then I had taken out the jar of strawberry jelly and then a pitcher of orange juice. I keep forgetting how organized Christopher is. Back when he was seventeen, he could barely pick his shoes up and put them away.

I had not known for so long of how insane I might sound when I say I barely remember last night. I mean, I remember going to dad and Colleen's, of course. And I remember that stupid argument we had. And I remember telling Colleen about Lara Jean being pregnant and engaged. And I remember going to that meadow in San Diego that Christopher took me to. And then we made love that felt like forever. We had too many rounds there until five in the morning. The sun was just coming up when we finally started driving back to Los Angeles.
