Chapter 19

Chapter Nineteen
EMMA POV:

I stayed up all night the night prior. I was barely able to sleep whilst staying away from Christopher for a whole night. But we did stay up talking on the phone until 4am. We both were in different places like he was out with Ty, Trevor, Tom, Ian, Logan and Aaron for the bachelor party which was the basic staying at Ty's house where they were watching this football game, drinking beers, and eating hot wings and pizza.

I was with Lara Jean at her bachelorette party which was me, Mandy, Victoria, Petra, and Naomi decided on going. Lara Jean had invited her due to everything she has gone through since July, two months ago. Naomi had the worst turning point when her sister had died, and it actually caused Naomi and Gretchen to breakup. And so, since they've broken up, I feel like I've been in the middle, and I was around Naomi constantly crying or seeing her getting drunk or high. It got too intense that Naomi had dyed her hair purple. So yeah goodbye pink and hello purple.

I had gotten calls from Gretchen of her basically asking me if Naomi was seeing someone else which I tell her directly that she is not, that she is actually just trying to move forward with everything and Naomi asked Gretchen to let her figure things out. So Naomi lives with Tom and his boyfriend, Ian. And Naomi needed to be alone and figure out what she wants. And in a way I know their both going through a hard time. But I still feel sorry for them both.

For the bachelorette party we stayed at Lara Jean's parents cabin. I had just walked in there, being overly happy and I remember drinking was a no option, especially with Lara Jean being eight months pregnant. At times, Lara Jean will just yell out "ouch" due to making a joke, and clearly she gets tight muscles, and also she gets lower back aches and of course she even tells me that she and Ty still haven't even decided on a name yet. I mean how can they when they don't even know the gender. Lara Jean wanted it to be a surprise. So they decided not to know until the baby is born. And just thinking of a part of both Lara Jean and Ty coming into this world actually excites me.

    We had hung around together during the bachelorette party by playing board games, and we even did face masks. But while I was at this cabin, I just missed Christopher terribly. And the next day was the day of the wedding which made me somewhat nervous for being a bridesmaid. And it actually kinda scares me because I was a bridesmaid for my dad and Colleen's wedding. And the night turned out for me being terribly lonely all night. And I fell asleep by four thirty in the morning after hanging up with Christopher. And then my alarm woke me up and all of us were going to Lara Jean's parents house to get ready. And I feel like Lara Jean's parents house is a maze.

I had gotten up along with the rest of the girls. And I really just wanted was to call Christopher. My mind was thinking about him the whole time. And I had to get checked with the rest of the girls by the Watson family. I knew Lara Jean came from wealthy parents but not as rich as they were. Lara Jean's house was quite gigantic, bigger than Peach's. And I recall us having breakfast there. I literally had three cups of coffee. We were up and it was 7am. Today is quite the big day to be a bridesmaid. And somehow I actually feel like today is the day to feel like one.

      I had marked my calendar marked for September 27th, for this day to be in the party for Ty and Lara Jean's wedding. Christopher is Ty's best man. And I think the other guys were quite jealous. But of course, Ty said he wanted to have Christopher his best man years before. He knew that when he would get married that it would be Christopher who would be his best man.

But in spite of all of this, Lara Jean, me and the rest of us, we all were having breakfast together while Lara Jean basically was drinking decaf tea and she definitely was into eating the whole breakfast table just about but then I realized how out and showing Lara Jean is. And I thought about this terribly if I was having to be pregnant at my wedding I think I would lose it. But I will say the breakfast, the manicure and the face masks that were done to us was the interesting part.
