                           THIRD POV:

Rachel pulled into the driveway in her Volkswagen Tiguan. And she looked at the house she once moved into, shared a marriage in, grew good and bad memories in it. And she had raised a child in it. And of course, Rachel hasn't really stepped into this house that much until several months ago. Of course, these past couple of days since the news broke that Rachel has cried, and she still is unable to believe that Edward is gone.

In other words she'd put down that the love of her life is dead. At least her true love. Rachel has known for so long that Edward and her loved each other so passionately that it destroyed them that they weren't together. And as she sat in the car, she had just cried, and released her tears unable to prevent herself from crying because she held onto so many memories when it came to Edward. Rachel had thought about the first couple of memories that flashed in her mind, and she remembered the day when she first met him in the hospital and he was just interning as a neurosurgeon, and there he was then looking so handsome in her own thoughts then just like she does now. She was twenty-two and Edward was twenty.

She remembered seeing him in his doctor light blue scrubs and he had a stethoscope hanging from behind his neck. And of course, Rachel fell in love with him the second she first met him. She loved his blue eyes because she noticed him right away. And here she was only a girl who just flew in from New York to go to her father's side and then received the devastating news about her father having a brain tumor. And she was in that hospital for weeks with her father, Marcel Grant. And her mother and sister were with her. And of course, Rachel can remember this as if it all happened yesterday.

But they both hid their desires from each other, and they both were instantly attracted to each other. And Edward and Rachel had seen each other everyday for weeks due to Edward interning on her father's case. But he obviously observed, but was still part of the surgery and procedure being done. But it took quite some time for Edward to actually have the courage to ask her out but he was persuaded by Rachel's father, in spite having a brain tumor. And Edward and Rachel found each other in a coffee shop in Santa Monica, and they both immediately were drawn to each other. Rachel wore a blue dress with a red scarf and her brown curls just fell lose and long. And it's when Edward asked her out and he told her that she looked good in the color red. And he complimented her red scarf looking beautiful on her.

Rachel snapped back into reality and she felt the tears fall from beneath her eyes, and she wiped the tears away, and she had stared at the house she once lived in and created memories with Edward in the house. The same house that Edward had betrayed Rachel in when he brought different women into their bedroom. Some were strangers and some were distant people and others were people who were close to Rachel. But of course, Rachel had gone directly into thinking about her former best friend, Jo. The woman Edward had an affair with for eight months. Rachel and Jo went to college together and they were best friends. Sort of like how Emma and Victoria are. But Rachel cut Jo out of her life when she found out. Jo left California and she had gone to Florida and she ended up getting married but then her husband died in a plane crash and Jo fell into the worst depression that she had eventually killed herself by slitting her wrists in the bathtub of her home. And to this day, Rachel feels responsible for Jo's death.

Rachel looks at the house and she sees Colleen's car is parked right outside. And so is Edward's. Rachel looked at his car and she cried seeing the beautiful black Subaru SUV just parked there and he will never ride it again. Rachel had gotten out of her car and she had slowly walked right up the steps and to the front door. She ended up ringing the doorbell and of course it took only a few minutes until the door opened.

Opening the door was Lexi. She is Hallie's babysitter who Edward and Colleen hired back in March. And immediately Lexi was very opened. Lexi is a college student at Santa Monica College. And she's only nineteen. She's very intelligent and good with Hallie. And seeing Rachel there, she had known exactly who she is and Lexi knew it was only right to allow her inside, even through this tough time.
