I knew that there was gonna be quite some new adjustments and changes. Christopher wasn't discharged until January twenty-ninth. And so, Christopher decided on his own decisions and where he wanted to go. He ended up having a long conversation with Colleen about how she was treating me was unfair. So I had done some crazy cleaning and making everything perfect back at our home. I had Ty help me out a little bit. And I had moved all of Christopher's clothes and belongings into the one of the many guest rooms that was right across from the room we used to share together. But we are friends and roommates now. I'm not sure how I'm going to accept this.

But on the day of, I had Ty help me get Christopher, he drove to the hospital and when Christopher got discharged, he got into the car, and he ended up enjoying the ride, smiling the whole way home. And Ty turned on the radio and immediately it was a old 90s song that they both started singing loudly to. And I actually saw Christopher being so happy that it actually killed me. Because I probably will see him be like this but it won't mean much to him if I'm doing it with him. And of course, the second Ty pulled into the driveway of our beautiful house, Christopher's jaw dropped and he couldn't believe that this is the house. And Ty parked his car and then once his car turned off we got out of the car together.

I was actually right behind Christopher the whole time, and he ended up walking towards the door as Ty followed with us. And once I opened the door for Christopher, he could barely step forward into the foyer. But he took his first step into it, and he just gasped, seeing how gorgeous the house was. And it only took him a little bit of time, and then of course, I had done everything to not cry by how happy he was.

Christopher stepped into the sitting room and he saw the sofas and the fireplace and the flat screen tv. He walked over to see the pictures that were above the fireplace and they were just picture frames of pictures of Christopher and me. One is from the Fourth of July, it's us by the beach while we watched fireworks. And another picture was of Christopher and Ty sitting next to each other on the rollercoaster ride together giving peace signs with their fingers. And another picture of me and Christopher sitting in the grass and I'm straddling him. Victoria took that picture.

Christopher looked at the pictures and he frowned, and he looked like he didn't understand what he was seeing. He picked up one picture frame, looking at it closely. And still he hadn't know what he was looking at. He after a few minutes, placed it back. And then we took him to the rest of the tour of the house. We took him to the kitchen, the dining room, sunroom, and even the patio to show him the swimming pool outside we have. And then we took him upstairs and showed him the bathroom and then introduced him into his bedroom.

His room was once a guest room. Ty and I decorated the way we think he'd like it. We put up emerald green curtains and the dresser was right against the wall. He had his walk in closet. And the nice bed for him. Christopher walked in, and he opened the closet and he touched every sleeve that poked out, being on a hanger. And he ended up sniffing in the scent of the shirt's sleeve. And immediately, I knew that he may or may never remember anything ever again. And so, I decided to just go and be part of the flow. And Christopher literally looked around and he saw the perfect hamper and he saw a record player and a few pictures on the dresser of Christopher and Colleen. And Christopher looked so happy that he could cry.

"You guys set this up?" Christopher turned to us, looking at us, and we both smiled, standing in the doorway.

"It was all Emma, actually." Ty replied.

"Ty helped of course." I admitted.

Christopher couldn't wrap his head around this. He was about to cry. And he then just wiped his eyes, and right after he just went around to walk right back over to us and he hugged both of us.
