Umuwi ako nang kinagabihan noon, Mahal ko siya no? I mean... Walang rason kung bakit hindi ko siya mamahalin.
Ngayong araw kulang na lang baliktarin ko yung office ko mahanap ko lang yung mga sing-sing at yung divorce paper. "Nandito lang yung sing-sing." Bulong ko sa sarili ko, mangiyak-ngiyak pa ako.
I kneel down, para lang silipin yung pinaka ilalim ng mga cabinets. "Hoy! Ano ginagawa mo diyan?" Napaupo ako nang marinig ko boses ni Doctora.
"Hinahanap ko wedding ring namin ni Irene, tulungan mo kong hanapin gold siya." Pang uutos ko pa.
"Halla si Gago oh." She said walking near to me, kaya nilingon ko siya may kasama pala siya.
"Ay halla, sorry hello po." I quickly stand up para pagpagin yung damit at kamay ko.
"Gregorio." Sabi ko, "Sofia." She said we take a shake hand afterwards.
"Girlfriend ko." Pagpapakilala ni Angelica kaya tinignan ko mula ulo hanggang paa tong Sofia.
"Bata..." Naibulong ko, "College student pa." Angelica said so I chuckled a little.
"Mga tipuhan mo ha." I said to her, "Actually nandito siya para maghanap ng OJT job? Kung ano man tawag niyo dun na business student." I nodded while she is explaining.
"Tulungan mo naman ipasok. Kahit ilang buwan lang. Three months?" Sabi niya, "Spokeperson ka ba?" Tanong ko sa kanya.
"May dala dala naman siyang requirements, mamaya mo na hanapin yang sing-sing niyo. Hindi pa nga kayo nag babati." Sabi niya napabuntong hininga ako dun.
"Sundan niyo ako." Sabi ko, at lumabas na ng main office ko, pinunta ko sila sa meeting room.
"Ang kakausapin ko si Sofia, wag na wag kang sasabat." I warned Angelica.
"Oo na sige na." She rolled her eyes so I chuckled a little.
"What's your real name?" Tanong ko habang hawak yung resume, "Sofia Mine Austria." She said, what a beautiful name.
"Age?" Hindi pa ako makapaniwala sa nakalagay dito, "23." She answered shortly I look at Angelica trying not to laugh. Tangina Ten years age gap sila.
I nodded, "So..." I started to become more professional now. "Introduce yourself." Sabi ko kasi wala pa ako maisip na tanong.
"I'm Sofia Mine Austria, 23 years old I'm originally from Pampanga. I'm studying Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management." She briefly said. "I'm really interested in handling a financial and marketing matters." She added.
"Why are you interested in this internship?" Tanong ko, syempre hindi nila pwedeng sabihin na no choice dahil kailangan nila yun para mag graduate.
"I'm really passionate about this work and I really like to work with you and other office worker you have sir, I'm excited to see how a leading firm like yours conducts its research and stays ahead of the competition at every turn." She answered, I'm just looking at her.
"Why do you want to work with us as finance manager?" I asked for the last question.
"I became really interested in pursuing a job as a finance management after completing my studies as a finance major. Making the most of my abilities and expertise excites me. Working for your reputable company will provide me the opportunity to advance professionally and have an enlightening experience." She answered.
"The thing is..." I tap my ballpen on the table, "Hindi kami hiring ngayon." I said kasi naman biglaan parang tanga din tong doctora na to.
"But we have one only option, sa Los Angeles our company there needing some staffs... If you really want to work with us, kailangan mo mag L.A syempre there's a disadvantages." I explain.
