I wake up feeling lazy knowing that Irene isn't the first thing I will saw beside me.
I stay my eyes closed, may meeting ako pero mamaya na lang muna ako babangon. The ring of my phone echoed to our bedroom. Kinapa ko yun at sinagot.
"Hello?" Tanong ko nga since naka pikit pa yung mata ko. "Dear? Tulog ka pa rin?" She asked, I smile hearing my wife's voice.
"Kagigising ko lang." I answered, not wanting to open my eyes. I put my phone on my chest while listening to her.
"Tumayo ka na, mag alis sais na oh." She said, "Later, walang mag titimpla nang kape ko." I continue to say.
"Edi ikaw." I chuckled when she said it, "Gusto ko ikaw eh." Sagot ko naman.
"Ewan ko sa'yo, natanong mo na ba kay Alfonso?" She ask reminding me things to talk with my son.
"Hindi pa, yesterday kasi he avoided my question kasi nandyan ka." I jokingly said.
"Ah so kasalanan ko? Hahaha!" She said, "Hahaha! Wala ako sinabi." I defended.
"Gising ka na kasi dear." She repeated, I opened my eyes.
"May pasok ba ngayon yung bata?" Tanong ko, "Malamang weekdays ngayon, dear naman." Sagot ko.
Natawa na lang ako, "May sasabihin ako." I grabbed my phone and lay down on my stomach.
"Hmm ano yun?" She said on the other line. I smile caressing her caller I.D
"I miss you!" I whispered hiding my face on the pillow.
Her soft laugh were heard from the other line, "Of course, I miss you too dear!"
I bite my lips, kinikilig na parang teenage lang. "So let's talk again later aasikasuhin ko pa yung sarili ko at si Alfonso." I said when we don't know what to say anymore.
"Sige, ingat! I love you dear!" She said making me smile more from ear to ear. "I love you so much!" I answered before ending the call.
So I get up, before neatly arranged our bed. It feels empty, I can't find the aroma of my coffee every time I get up, and the soft lips that says good morning every each day.
I started to wash my face, "Ano ka ba naman Greggy, nag trabaho lang naman asawa mo uuwi din yun bukas." I whispered.
Going to Luis bedroom, I saw the door open. I look at my watch. "Baka siya, na inform na kaya siya?" I asked since lahat naman nang kasambahay namin ay ini inform sa mga bagay bagay, at may pag house tour pa. The mayordoma of kasambahay takes charge in to it.
I slowly open it revealing Nerissa and Luis, I knock on the door before opening it widely.
"Gising na?" I asked her stepping inside the room.
"Yes po sir." She said, "Na instruct na ba sa'yo mga gagawin mo?" Tanong ko naman. Observing Luis bedroom.
"Yes sir." She said, I signal her to give me my son. So she did, letting me carry Luis.
"Hi baby!" I greeted, "D-Da." He said.
I smile widely, "Yes it's me. Daddy." I said correcting him.
"Da da da da!" He repeated, the smile on our faces did not remove.
"Do you want to see kuya? Huh?" I asked.
