Greggy needed to attend a three months business travel, out of the country. Even having a heavy heart to leave his family behind, he needed to be there.
"Kamusta naman ang mga bata?" He asked his wife, staring at the laptop.
"Okay lang... Okay lang naman." Irene answer, but let out of sigh.
"Hindi ba sakit sa ulo?" He asked again.
Irene can't help but to look away, "Oo. Oo naman syempre, ginagabayan ko naman." She answered.
She knows that, the one of their children did so many things that makes her stress so much.
It's a releasing of cards on Georgia's school. "Wag na kasi mom." A teenage girl insisted.
"Anong wag?" Irene frown, "What do you mean?" She asked again.
"Pwede naman kasi ako yung kukuha eh." Georgia defended.
"Tumigil ka, wag na wag kang aalis dito sa bahay hangga't hindi ako dumadating." Irene said smelling something fishy about it.
So she went to her school, she's still in third year junior high school.
"Good morning misis, buti kayo po ang pumunta." The teacher greeted.
"Kamusta po ba ang performance ng anak ko?" She asked.
The teacher sigh, "Matalino naman matataas ang grades yun nga lang... Baka sa attitude po babagsak."
That made her shock, "What happened?" She asked.
"Last week, I caught her and her friends outside the school smoking." The teacher said.
Hindi pa sana maniniwala si Irene, nang biglang lapagan siya ng mga ebidensya ng teacher.
"Can you send it to me?" She favored.
Her heart crashed, "Kaunting mahigpit na gabay lang po sana. Dalaga pa naman, mahirap na." The teacher bitterly smiled.
"Thank you po miss." She just can't help but to sigh.
Once she got home, Irene search for her daughter.
"Georgia, pumunta ka ng kwarto." She commanded.
So they went inside the bedroom.
"Ikwento mo sa akin kung anong nangyari." Irene asked anytime she will yelled at her daughter.
"Nangyari?" Georgia knows what her mom talking about but she need to defend herself.
"You know what I'm talking about. So tell me what happened?" She repeated with a firm on her voice.
Georgia started to get teary eyes. "Wag mo akong iniiyakan, Georgia naman." Irene look at her with a pity but mad eyes.
"Lahat ng gusto mo binibigay namin ng daddy mo. Ang hiling lang naman sana namin mag aral ka ng mabuti."
"Is not that enough?" Georgia talk back.
Irene stood up, "It's more than enough pero sana naman pati ugali at kilos mo maging maayos din."
"So sinasabi mo parang ang bababa ko? Ay sorry naman ha." Georgia spit out.
Having an heavy heart, but Irene did...
Slap her daughter.
"Saan mo nakuha yan? Sa mga barkada mo? Sa mga kaibigan mo na walang ibang ginawa kundi humingi ng financial?" Irene raised her voice.
Georgia's tears started to fell, her knees started to get weak and her body wanted to collapse as soon as her mom said that.
"Gusto ko lang naman maging malaya!"
