They were too happy.

And nice.

They were too happy and nice for me, and towards me. I didn't deserve it.

I felt like I was ruining all their plans, and it was stupid, but I found it hard to believe Michael wanted me here when this had all been sprung on him.

I changed into a smaller top and tied my hair up since I was over heating, then sat on my bed biting my nails, staring at the floor. Today had sucked.

"Knock knock, I brought you food,"

"Come in,"

Calum opened my door and passed me a plate full of food, then put a drink on my bedside table.

"Thanks,"

"Anything you want to talk about?"

"No,"

"Okay, the tv should be logged into all our accounts. We're playing games later if you want to join us,"

"I'm gonna sleep,"

"Okay sweetheart, I hope you sleep well if I don't catch you before,"

He shut my door again and I took a few bites from my food, but I wasn't particularly hungry after the events of today, and decided to tuck myself into bed instead, falling asleep to the sound of them all laughing outside.

They laughed loud. It wasn't as if it would actually send someone to sleep. However, it was nice to actually heard a laugh.

When I woke up, I thought it would probably be the middle of the night, or at least early morning, because mum and dad didn't try to be quiet so I always woke up then whether I had a shift or not . However, I looked at the time and it was 9am, but the house was still pretty quiet.

I hadn't plugged my phone in last night, so I did it now, then went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. My hair was even worse than before, so I took a shower too, since Mike had left me with fresh towels and toiletries, then changed into sweatpants and an oversized tshirt, braiding my wet hair out the way.

"Good morning!"

Calum was sat in the kitchen with a coffee, and Michael rushed in from the living room, giving me a tight hug.

"You slept well?"

"Yeah,"

"What can I get you for breakfast? Any drinks?"

"I don't want breakfast,"

"You have to, it's our favourite meal in the house, we have all the cool shit,"

"Like what?"

"A waffle maker, chocolate cereal, bagels,"

"Aren't you doctors?"

"Hey, we've gotta start the day happy somehow," he said, grabbing cereal for himself, "We have eggs too, or granola, and yoghurt, and fruit, or pancakes actually,"

I looked at Calum with a look, but he seemed just as chuffed about it all. It dawned on me that it would be quite different to live with two immature grown men, than my parents. More than I thought.

Well, I hadn't had much time to think about it, I guessed.

"I will have yoghurt,"

"And?"

"Strawberries,"

"Fine, but I wanted to make you a waffle," he grumbled.

"Tomorrow,"
