Where Michael had been laid was warm, so I snuggled into the blankets and shuffled towards Calum, sighing heavily. He moved my wet hair from his body and hugged me, but then pushed back a little to see my face again.

"What's up?"

"You promise I am not pregnant?"

"I 100% promise,"

"Okay,"

"Do you feel sick?"

"No I feel better,"

"Good. I don't want you worrying any more about all that, you're all good,"

"Okay,"

"You might want to consider birth control if it's causing you this much stress, though, so it doesn't make you this worried again,"

"I don't like the side effects," I said firmly.

"Okay, fair enough,"

"I feel like I didn't deserve today,"

"You absolutely did. You've been so brave," he said.

"I'm sorry for being rude to you,"

"I forgive you,"

"Thank you,"

"You deserve all the love Michael gives you, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You absolutely deserved to go out and have fun today,"

"Okay, but he is mad at me about the pyjamas,"

"He isn't mad at you, I think he's just a bit stressed because he doesn't feel like you have everything you need," he said.

"Okay,"

"You are so cared about in this house, and I want you to remember that. Maybe we will be a bit cranky from a long day at work, but we do care, and I know Michael does a lot behind the scenes because he really cares!"

"Do Ashton and Luke care too?"

"They do. You were like a shared little sister, which obviously had changed slightly with age, but they are always gonna be protective over you,"

"I am independent, I don't need that,"

"There's no stopping them,"

"And I'm not anyone's sister other than Michael's,"

"I know, I was just using it as an example... it's okay to be close to people though, and let them care for you,"

"I do. This is me letting you care,"

"Alright,"

I shuffled back into his chest and waited for him to hug me back, shutting my eyes tightly. Calum was someone I had always trusted. Even when Michael didn't talk to me much at family gatherings, Calum always did, and he was interested in what I had to say.

Getting used to the idea of having him in my life from now on was definitely more comforting than scary, now.

We stayed there until Michael called us for food, then went downstairs and found boxes of pizza and sides instead of a stir fry. He was grinning widely like a happy toddler, then swooped all the boxes up and took them to the living room.

"We are watching a movie,"

"This is sick mate, thank you,"

Equally as giddy, Calum threw himself into Mike's arms, then sat on the sofa and started opening the boxes. The pair of them got comfy, so I sat on the other sofa, minding my own business. I didn't really want pizza, but I wasn't going to complain about it either.
