UNDER the full moon, a man slowly turned into a big black wolf. After shifting into his wolf form, he looked at the moon and howled loudly. His howled was repeated by his pack members and thus, the howling of wolves can be heard in the entire forest. The black wolf suddenly run into the direction, going into the deepest part of the forest. Upon reaching the deepest part of the forest where the clear area can be located, he lied down on the ground. Seconds later, he felt someone attacking him from behind so he quickly left his place and jumped into the other side of the clearing.
A golden-brown wolf stood proudly.
The black wolf snarled at the golden-brown wolf but the latter just give him a wolfy grin.
Sunod-sunod na dumating ang iba pang mga lobo. And now there are total of ten wolves inside the clearing. They're not going to fight but it's already their routine to go to the clearing and to see each other during full moon and talk about their lonely life without having a mate by their side. Yes, they are all male wolves who has not yet been found their mate and the funny thing is they are all Alphas of different packs. They are ten Alphas and they have their own rank.
Lahat sila ay pumunta sa likuran ng mga puno at nagpalit ng anyo. Nagsuot sila ng pants na nakalagay sa mga puno. Kapag nagpapalit kasi sila ng anyo ay nasisira ang mga damit nila.
"So, who has now found his mate?" Alpha Rowan asked. He is the third rank alpha. "Anyone?"
Nagkatinginan ang lahat at walang nagsalita.
Tumawa si Alpha Rowan. "Don't worry, we are all the same."
Alpha Dale sighed, the second rank alpha. "Wala na ba tayong ibang pag-uusapan tuwing nagkikita tayong lahat kundi ang tungkol sa mga mate natin na hindi pa natin nahahanap?"
The fifth rank alpha, Alpha Reginald chuckled. "Ano ba ang pag-usapan natin? Rogue?" he tsked. "Rogue are giving me headaches."
Sumang-ayon naman ang ibang Alpha.
"I got a fight with Rogues the other day." Kwento ni Alpha Yael. He's the sixth rank alpha. "Some of my pack warriors got injured."
Alpha Aziel, the fourth rank alpha, crossed his arms. "Ano pa nga bang bago? We are all alliance. So, Rogue is our enemies."
"But speaking of Rogue, some of them are innocent." The eight rank alpha, Alpha Rehan said.
Lahat ng atensiyon ay tumutok kay Alpha Rehan. They all know that Alpha Rehan's character. Among all the ten Alpha of werewolves, Alpha Rehan is the most-kind Alpha because he shows mercy to some rogues. Alpha Rehan really deserved his name. Rehan's name meaning is sweet. Yes, a sweet Alpha.
Alpha Keanu, the first rank alpha, glared at Alpha Zale, the seventh rank, who jumped at him earlier.
Nagtaas lang naman ng kamay ni Alpha Zale at ngumisi.
Napailing si Alpha Keanu.
"But speaking of mate, who do you think will be the first one to find his mate?" Nakangising tanong ni Alpha Kalen, he's the nineth rank alpha.
"You? Who do you think?" Alpha Eugene, the tenth rank alpha, asked Alpha Keanu.
Nagkibit lang naman ng balikat si Alpha Keanu. "I don't know. But I wish it will be me."
"You?" Natawa bigla si Alpha Aziel. "You better forget it. Baka matakot lang sa 'yo ang mate mo. You always pulled a long face, Keanu."
"Shut up, Aziel."
