"SINCE, we are going against each other in this game. Why don't we have a bet?" Keanu proposed as he dropped the ball on the ground and using his right-hand, he dribbled it while he was looking at Ava.
Tinignan ni Ava ang mga kasamang naglalaro. Tinanguan siya ng mga ito kaya ibinalik niya ang tingin kay Keanu. "Okay. What's the stake?" she asked.
Ngumiti si Keanu. "If I win, you will live in the pack house."
Natigilan si Ava at sandaling napatitig kay Keanu. But the audience cheered, "Alpha! Alpha! Alpha!"
"Go, Alpha!"
Natawa si Sophia na nanonood saka napailing. "The Luna didn't know that she is the most important person in the pack."
Inakbayan naman ni Oliver si Sophia at hinalikan ito sa gilid ng ulo. "Well, she's different from us."
Sophia just sighed. "But I hope that Alpha will win."
Oliver chuckled as he shook his head.
"And if you win, you can ask anything." Dagdag ni Keanu habang nakatingin kay Ava.
Tumango si Ava. "Okay. Deal." Inilahad niya ang kamay.
Keanu smiled. "Deal." He said as he shook Ava's hand and kissed it.
The audience cheered for the Alpha and Luna.
Ava just blushed and pulled her away from Keanu's hand. Humarap siya sa grupo niya at kinausap ang mga ito. Ganun din ang ginawa ni Keanu. Kaniya-kaniyang diskarte para manalo.
Nang magsimula ang laro, eksakto namang dumating si Alden at Elijah.
Everyone was cheering for Alpha Keanu. Of course, it's for the bet.
Kumunot ang nuo ni Alden. "They don't want to cheer for my sister?"
Natawa si Elijah saka nagkibit ng balikat.
"Go, Ate!" Malakas na sigaw ni Alden na ikinatingin sa kaniya ng mga kasama nilang nanonood pero wala siyang pakialam.
Habang si Ava naman na narinig ang sigaw ni Alden, tinignan niya ang kapatid at nginitian ito.
Alden just waved his hand at her sister.
"You came at the right time." Sabi ni Oliver nang makalapit ito sa kinaroroonan ni Elijah at Alden kasama si Sophia.
Ngumiti si Elijah. "My mate wanted to see his sister. Isang linggo din silang hindi nagkita."
Oliver looked at Alden who were engrossed in watching.
Ava and Keanu are both good in playing basketball. Every time they threw the ball at the ring, it will hit the ring. Naghahabulan ang scores ng grupo ni Ava at Keanu. Keanu's group was leading while Ava's group was behind of two points.
Nang magkaroon ng break, uminom si Ava ng tubig saka kinausap ang grupo. "Are you confident to win?" she asked.
"Yes, Luna." Confident na sagot ng mga ito.
Tumingin si Ava kay Keanu. Nginisihan niya lang ang binata pero ngumiti lang ito.
'I will win.' Sabi ni Ava sa mindlink nilang dalawa. Sa mindlink lang nilang dalawa pwedeng makapag-communicate si Ava. Dahil tao siya, hindi siya pwedeng makipag-usap sa pack link. Though the moon goddess blessed her to have the ability to communicate through mindlink but it's only for Keanu.
'You're that confident, baby?'
'Of course.' Tugon ni Ava.
When the break time was finished, they all went back inside the court and continued to play.
