TAHIMIK na naglalakad si Joy pauwi sa kanilang bahay habang iniisip ang nangyari kanina lang sa mga hunters. She saw it with her own eyes. Ava burned those dead bodies and fear doesn't even show in her face. Napaisip si Joy. For Ava, who was fearless doing that kind of thing... I wonder what is she? Joy saw Ava how she fought those hunters. Her movement are fast. It was fast as lightning. Even I am a werewolf, I couldn't follow her movement.
Joy sighed. Ava... nalaman niya sa araw na 'to na si Ava ang kanilang Luna dahil sa pagbisita ni Alpha Keanu sa flower shop na pinagtatrabahuan nilang dalawa ni Ava. Alpha Keanu doesn't like going out of the Bright Moon Pack, he always stays in his office in the pack house and doing his Alpha duties. I wonder if Ava felt the mate bond? But I hope she did. She's a human after all.
Joy was in deep thoughts, the reason why she didn't notice the person whom she was about to collide. The person in front of Joy just smiled and waited until the girl collided with him. Mukhang may malalim itong iniisip kaya hindi siya nito napansin.
Napasinghap si Joy at mabilis na nag-angat ng tingin nang bumangga siya sa isang tao. Hindi man lang niya ito napansin dahil sa lalim ng iniisip niya. "Leo?" Napakurap siya nang makita niya ang mate niya.
Leo smiled. "Are you alright? Hindi mo pa ako napansin."
Umiling si Joy. "I'm fine. Bakit ka nandito?" tanong niya. Tinignan niya ang kinaroroonan niya. Malapit na pala siya sa pack house. Though you can't say it was a house because the pack house looks like a castle.
"Alpha was asking your presence. It's about the Luna." Leo said.
Bahagyang nanlaki ang mata ni Joy. "The Luna?" natigilan siya. Paano niya sasabihin ang nakita niya kay Alpha Keanu? Ava threatened her not to tell anyone about what she had saw this night. Though she's not clear what kind of person Ava is? Obviously, Ava is a human but how could she fight those hunters in just matter of seconds. Ava defeated those hunters with her dagger sword and without sweats.
Kumunot ang noo ni Leo. "What's wrong? Did something happen to the Luna?" he asked worriedly. If something bad happened to the Luna, the Alpha will be furious and no one will be spared.
Mabilis pa sa alas kwatro na umiling si Joy. "Wala naman. She's safe and sound." Napabuntonghininga siya ng mahina.
"Then why do you look bothered?" Leo asked his mate.
Umiling si Joy. "Huwag mo na lang akong pansinin."
"Let's go to the Alpha then. Let's not keep him waiting."
Tumango si Joy.
Joy and Leo went to the pack house to meet the Alpha.
"Alpha." Joy and Leo bowed their head.
Inside the Alpha's office. The Beta and the Gamma are present. They are discussing with the Alpha about the security of their pack.
"How was it?" Alpha Keanu asked Joy. "Was she safe?"
Tumango si Joy. "Yes, Alpha. The Luna was safe and sound."
"That's good." Then Keanu gave his order. "Joy, I want you to protect your Luna. Report to me everything what you saw and anyone who is suspicious around her."
Yumukod si Joy. "Yes, Alpha."
Kapagkuwan napansin ni Keanu ang mukha ni Joy. Parang may malalim itong iniisip. "Joy."
"Joy."
Leo needed to flicked his hand in front of his mate to call her attention and it did.
"Joy, are you alright?" Alpha Keanu asked.
