SOPHIA opened her eyes and she was welcomed with white ceiling. Sandali siyang napatitig sa kisame dahil pakiramdam wala siyang naririnig pero maya-maya lang ay narinig niyang may nagsalita sa gilid niya.
"What happened to her?" A gentle voice asked.
"She's adjusting herself. She's unconscious for two days so that's normal." Said the other voice.
Kumurap si Sophia. Biglang bumalik sa memorya niya ang mga nangyari sa kaniya.

"Ava..." Mahina niyang sambit.
May naramdaman siyang humawak sa kamay niya. It's a warm hand and his touch was so gentle. His touched made her feel comfortable. Slowly, Sophia looked at her side. She was welcomed with a good-looking man -the one who's holding her hand- while the other one is wearing doctor's robe.
Sophia's wolf suddenly jumped in excitement. Mate! Mate! Mate!
"M-mate?" Sophia muttered while looking at the man holding her hand.
Oliver smiled. "It's me. I'm your mate. How's your feeling?"
Sophia closed her eyes and let out a sigh. "W-weak." She said as she opened her eyes.
"Well, it's normal to feel weak because of your wounds. I'm Caleb Sloane by the way. You can call me Doc Caleb or Dr. Sloane. Whichever you prefer." Dr. Sloane smiled.
"You really first introduce yourself to my mate." Oliver glared at Dr. Sloane.
Nagkibit lang naman ng balikat si Caleb saka tinignan ang clipboard na hawak. "So, what's your name, Miss?" he asked.
"Sophia Moran." Sophia answered in weak voice. Humigpit ang hawak niya sa mate niya. Pakiramdam niya kasi ay doon siya kumukuha ng lakas.
"Okay, Miss Moran. I'll be honest with you." Caleb said in serious voice. "Your wound will be healed in few days. You are wounded by silver weapon so it's hard for your wound to heal itself. I advise you to stay in bed and don't move until you're recovered or else your wound will open. And I want to inform you that you lost too much blood. Luckily we have a stock of blood here so you're saved."
"Thanks, Doc."
Umiling si Caleb. "Don't thank me." Then his attention went to Oliver. "Alpha will come here later to ask some questions to Miss Moran."
Oliver nodded his head. "I understand."
Caleb tapped Oliver's shoulder and left the two. He went back to his own office.
Oliver smiled. Umangat ang kamay niya saka hinawi ang ilang hibla ng buhok na tumatabing sa mukha ni Sophia. "Who hurt you?"
Hinawakan ni Sophia ang kamay ni Oliver na nakahawak sa isa nitong kamay. "Your name?" tanong niya, instead of answering her mate's question.
"Oh. I'm Oliver Amado. I'm the Beta of Bright Moon Pack. Actually, you are here in Bright Moon Pack. I found you at the border." Nanginig si Oliver nang maalala ang kalagayan ng mate nito nang una niya itong makita. He wanted to kill those bastards who hurt his mate.
Tipid na ngumiti si Sophia. "Nice to meet you then, Oliver. But I'm a rogue." Umiling siya. "Rogue is not welcome into any pack."
"We can do an exemption." Said a powerful and authoritative voice and the person who owned that voice entered the room.
Mabilis na tumayo si Oliver at yumukod. "Alpha."
Alpha? Sophia bowed her head since she couldn't get up to pay respect to the Alpha who's in front of her.
