Bonnie was home. She spent a week on some retreat with fellow witches from Mystic Falls. Elena and Caroline called it her 'Witch Week'.
Meeting their best friend at the Grill, Bonnie didn't have a second to relax before Elena and Caroline started bombarding her with love.
"Bonnie! You're finally home!" Caroline hugged Bonnie who couldn't help but smile.
"Welcome back Bonnie." Elena hugged her.
After sitting down and ordering some drinks, Caroline leaned forward, intending to start a conversation that had nothing to do with Stefan, Damon or the troubles that had occurred.
"So, how was Witch Week?" Caroline asked.
"It isn't called that." Bonnie laughed at her friend.
"You spent a week with other witches, you learned about your family line of witches and you practiced magic. Therefore, Witch Week." Caroline smiled at her friend.
"It was relaxing. I haven't felt so comfortable in a long time." Bonnie smiled more.
"How were things here while I was gone?" Bonnie asked, both Caroline and Elena sighing.
"Klaus kidnapped me, as you know, poisoning me. That forced Damon to bite me and as a result he turned me into a vampire." Elena started, Bonnie was shocked.
"Elena met her real mother who is also a vampire and she threatened to kill Elena." Caroline continued, Bonnie unable to believe the mess.
"Caroline and Stefan discovered that Damon and I are bounded by a thing called a sire bond, all because I had feelings for Damon before he turned me into a vampire." Elena sighed.
"Stefan accused Elena of being unfaithful and as a result, Elena went full on vampire mode, luckily no one was hurt, except a deer." Caroline continued, the shock on Bonnie's face getting larger.
"And finally, Damon confessed to me yesterday that he loves me." Elena finished.
"Okay, wow." Bonnie started to think of her response.
"Klaus is a jerk. Elena's mother also seems like a jerk." Bonnie responded to the first two experiences.
"I have a vague understanding of the sire bond, so wow, that's a discovery. Stefan accusing you of being unfaithful just seems way too weird." Bonnie spoke, feeling sorry for Elena.
"Damon confessed?!" Bonnie was really shocked by the last bit.
"As in Damon Salvatore, your boyfriend's brother who is known for being a dangerous psycho?" Bonnie leaned back.
"The same." Caroline laughed.
"Wow. I seriously can't believe that Damon Salvatore confessed to loving you, knowing that you are dating his brother. Damn, I missed a lot." Bonnie laughed.
"One question though, how did Stefan react to Damon's confession? Is everything okay between you two?" Bonnie asked, stumping Elena.
"Uh, Stefan doesn't know." Elena admitted, even confusing Caroline.
"What do you mean, Stefan doesn't know?!" Caroline asked, shocked.
"Stefan wasn't around when Damon confessed. He came back to the house to find that Stefan was gone, so he came upstairs and we talked. Then he kissed me before leaving the room." Elena revealed.
"Hold up! Damon kissed you?!" Bonnie was shocked.
"Uh, yeah. He said that he wasn't going to feel guilty about his feelings for me before he kissed me." Elena elaborated.
"You're going to tell Stefan about the confession and the kiss, right?" Caroline asked.
"No- yes. I don't know- maybe." Elena sighed.
"You have to tell him Elena. First of all, he deserves to know. Second, he's your boyfriend. Besides, if Damon says something whether on purpose or by accident, you don't want Stefan thinking that you initiated it. It's better that you tell him sooner rather than later..." Bonnie held Elena's hand.
"You know, let's just put a pin in this conversation and focus on Bonnie being home. Sleep over tonight at my place. We're going to do our nails, watch movies and eat junk while discussing boys and other interesting topics." Caroline suggested.
"Sounds fun. Bonnie?" Elena asked, Bonnie smiling as she nodded.
The evening came fast, letting Caroline, Bonnie and Elena have more fun than normal.
Bonnie tore off one of Caroline's pillow cases, confusing her.
"Hey! That's my pillow!" Caroline exclaimed, trying to rip the pillow away from Bonnie.
"Caroline, trust her..." Elena smiled, reassuring Caroline.
"What are you doing, Bonnie?!" Caroline's eyes widened as she watched Bonnie slash her pillow open, releasing the feathers within.
"I've done this once before, but, with the help of my grams, I've made it better." Bonnie smiled as she prepared herself.
"The windows aren't open?" Elena asked.
"Nope." Caroline double checked.
"The air-conditioning is off and there is no air coming from airducts?" Bonnie asked, Caroline nodding.
Bunching the feathers onto the floor into a pile, Bonnie stood in front of it, holding her hands in front of her. After a few seconds, every feather on the floor was levitating in the air and Caroline loved it, knowing that there was nothing that could be causing this to happen, except Bonnie.
"Wow. This is amazing!" Caroline smiled at Bonnie, who let the feathers fall to the floor on their own.
