Nightfall had come, meaning the full moon was out. The witch that Klaus had captured had created rings around Jenna and Elena who were now in their respective rings, the werewolf getting her own ring as well. Fire erupted, officially separating Jenna, Elena and Jules.

"Elena, wake up. It's almost time." Jenna sighed, knowing that her fate was death.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Elena asked, Jenna looking pale.

"I was turned into a vampire and I'm currently waiting to meet my fate of death." Jenna sighed.

"Don't say that. You're not going to die. Stefan, Damon, Caroline, they're all going to get you out of here. You're going to live, and you're going to be with Jeremy." Elena smiled.

"Look around, Elena. I failed you." Jenna sighed again.

"But you didn't. You put your entire life on hold to help us. In fact, I failed you. I'm so sorry. Listen, being a vampire, it intensifies your guilt. But it also makes you stronger and faster. You can fight back now. I'm going to get through this and so are you. I'll be okay. I need you to believe that. Promise me, when you get the chance...run." Elena smiled, wishing she could hug Jenna.

Hearing the leaves around them crunch, Elena sat up, seeing Damon, Stefan and Caroline all standing a safe distance from Klaus.

"Damon..." Elena smiled, seeing her boyfriend.

"Klaus, let Jenna go. Take me instead." Stefan offered, Klaus laughing.

"Oh, I don't know. I rather appreciate the symmetry of three women- three goddesses- sacrificed at nature's altar." Klaus laughed, looking between Jenna and Stefan.

"Don't play games with me. You'll get what you want. Just make the trade. Me for Jenna." Stefan stood his ground, Klaus still laughing.

"You're quite the hero, aren't you? I've heard that about you." Klaus basically denying Stefan's wish.

"It's time." Klaus smiled, watching as the first part of his plan worked perfectly. The power within the moonstone was now free.

Walking over to Jules, Klaus, with no hesitation, plunged his hand into her chest, ripping out her heart. Elena watched in horror as Jules' dead body dropped to the floor.

"First sacrifice, done." Klaus smiled, dropping the heart up at the altar.

Walking over to Jenna, Elena begged him not to hurt her, to take Stefan instead. The circle of fire dropping around Jenna, she attempted to run, just like she promised Elena, but Klaus was faster, stopping her from getting far.

"Silly Jenna. You just pissed me off." Klaus hissed as he picked up a pre-made wooden stake, lifting it up.

"Just turn it off. Jenna, turn it off. You won't be scared anymore." Elena begged Jenna, who knew about turning off her humanity. Closing her eyes, Jenna spent her final moments alive turning off her humanity.

"Klaus, no!" Elena screamed as Klaus plunged the stake directly into Jenna's heart, her face turning grey.

"No! Jenna! No! Jenna! No..." Elena cried out as she watched her aunt's dead body fall to the floor.

"Second sacrifice done." Klaus smirked as the ring around Elena dropped. Elena nodded to Damon, who had been watching the whole time. He wasn't as nervous for Elena's turn, as he could revive her with blood, seeing as Klaus didn't know she was a vampire.

"Thank you, Elena." Klaus smiled at Elena, who stayed calm.

"Go to hell." Elena hissed at Klaus, who didn't hesitate to sink his fangs into her neck, draining her of blood. Dropping her body to the floor, he walked toward the altar, smiling.

"Damon, go get Elena. Take her as far away from here as possible. Use the bags of blood in your pocket to revive her." Stefan ordered.

"I can feel it happening! Yes! Yes!" Klaus cheered, unaware that Damon was now taking Elena's limp body away from the altar and near his car so he could give her some blood.

Stefan watched as Elijah turned up, angry at his brother for all the pain he caused. Without second thoughts, Elijah staked Klaus, injuring him enough to get him as far away from the altar as possible.

Damon rushed Elena back to the Boarding House, hoping that after a while, Elena would be okay.

"Elena, you're okay now." Damon moved the hair from Elena's face as he placed her on his bed, kissing her forehead.

He put the first bag of blood against her lips, helping her drinking the first bag. With success, the first bag was emptied, but Elena could barely move.
