Turns out, tormenting Damon, Elena, Stefan and Caroline had become easy for Katherine. One wrong word and everything would fall apart. Although, Katherine wanted to keep enjoying the torment, so she saved the words she knew would tear everthing apart until she needed them.

The five had been living under the same roof. Caroline and Stefan shared a room, Damon and Elena shared a room, which left Katherine in the room at the end of the hall, far away from Elena.

"Morning." Katherine entered the kitchen. She was wearing one of Elena's pyjama outfits and she could see Elena become uncomfortable.

"Katherine, you may be living here, but those are mine..." Elena sighed, watching as Damon looked away. He hated seeing his girlfriend's clothes on Kathrine.

"I know, but they definitely look better on me." Katherine took Elena's coffee and walked off, knowing that Elena couldn't follow her considering that she was still on crutches.

"We look the same..." Elena looked at Damon in confusion while he made another coffee for her.

"Is it just me, or does someone else want to drive a stake through her heart?" Caroline hissed, rubbing her eyes.

"What did she do to you?" Elena asked, looking at how pissed Caroline was.

"I didn't sleep at all last night. I got really hungry, so I went down to the basement to get a blood bag, but Katherine devoured them all. Instead, I went to pour myself some coffee but she finished that too. I went to bed with the urge to kill someone." Caroline sat down, Damon passing a glass full of blood to Caroline, who smiled.

"Topped up this morning." Damon smiled. Elena looked at her boyfriend and her best friend. She felt kinda weird now that out of everyone living in the Boarding House, Elena was the only human.

"I'll drink this somewhere else." Caroline smiled, knowing that Elena felt weird.

"No. It's fine. I need to get dressed anyway." Elena got out of the kitchen as fast as she could, considering her crutches.

"So. How does it feel being the only human left in this Boarding House?" Kathrine barged into Damon's room while Elena was half naked.

"Katherine! Get out!" Elena threw a pillow with all her might at Katherine, who used her speed to avoid it.

"Wow. Becoming human has really dumbed you right down." Katherine smirked, sitting on the chair that rested near the window.

"At least now I don't have to fear about the sun anymore, or need permission to enter a house." Elena put on one of her shirts, wanting Katherine to go away.

"But now, you're worthless. At least, when you were a vampire you had some use in stressful situations. Now, you just run and hide so that Damon doesn't have to worry about saving you." Katherine took a shirt out of Elena's drawer, putting on.

"At least now I can have the life I once feared I'd never have." Elena ripped the shirt off Katherine.

"Now, now. Let's not get violent." Katherine smiled as she backed away.

"I won't get violent if you stay away from Damon and Stefan. Damon is happy with me and Stefan is happy with Caroline. Please, don't destroy that." Elena looked away.

"I'm here to enjoy my life now that Klaus is gone. If I cause a little bit of trouble, you'll get over it. Or maybe, you won't. I don't care." Katherine laughed as she walked out of Damon's room.

Enraged, Elena wanted to throw another pillow, but she decided against it. She got dressed, sneaking out of the house before anyone would notice. Getting to the Grill, Elena wanted to forget about Katherine. The Grill would be a place where Elena could forget about the drama known as Katherine. Elena waited for Caroline and Bonnie to arrive, but only one of her friends showed, Bonnie.

"Where's Caroline?" Elena asked, confused.

"She said that she's gonna be late and that she'll meet up with us later." Bonnie smiled.

"I guess Stefan will keep her busy 'til then." Elena laughed.

"Let's go." Bonnie smiled, holding Elena's hand.

"Go where? I thought we'd just hang out here..." Elena asked, confused.

"College tours. I heard Whitmore college is a good place to start." Bonnie started walking, causing Elena to follow.
