Jenna's death had brought the worst out in Jeremy. He refused to speak to Elena, or even let her come near him.

"He'll come around, Elena. He has to." Damon held Elena in his arms as they rested in his bed, Elena having cried for hours before.

"I'm gong to get some sleep. Jenna's funeral is tomorrow." Elena whispered as she kissed his cheek, closing her eyes.

Walking over to Jenna, Elena begged him not to hurt her, to take Stefan instead. The circle of fire dropping around Jenna, she attempted to run, just like she promised Elena, but Klaus was faster, stopping her from getting far.

"Silly Jenna. You just pissed me off." Klaus hissed as he picked up a pre-made wooden stake, lifting it up.

"Just turn it off. Jenna, turn it off. You won't be scared anymore." Elena begged Jenna, who knew about turning off her humanity. Closing her eyes, Jenna spent her final moments alive turning off her humanity.

"Klaus, no!" Elena screamed as Klaus plunged the stake directly into Jenna's heart, her face turning grey.

"No! Jenna! No! Jenna! No..." Elena cried out as she watched her aunt's dead body fall to the floor.

"Second sacrifice done." Klaus smirked as the ring around Elena dropped. Elena nodded to Damon, who had been watching the whole time. He wasn't as nervous for Elena's turn, as he could revive her with blood, seeing as Klaus didn't know she was a vampire.

"Thank you, Elena." Klaus smiled at Elena, who stayed calm.

"Go to hell." Elena hissed at Klaus, who didn't hesitate to sink his fangs into her neck, draining her of blood. Dropping her body to the floor, he walked toward the altar, smiling.

Jolting out of her sleep, Elena looked around. It was 6 am. Damon was still asleep.

Having an early morning shower, Elena was out and getting dressed by 7:30 am.

"Morning." Damon kissed Elena's forehead, smiling.

"Morning." Elena smiled, sighing as she picked out a set of earrings.

"Jeremy is downstairs." Stefan sighed as he opened Damon's bedroom door, alerting the couple. Excited to see her brother again, Elena ran downstairs to see Jeremy in his best suit, a suit he hadn't worn since his parents died.

"Jeremy..." Elena went to hug Jeremy, but touching his suit made her burn up.

"Vervain." Jeremy sighed.

"What the hell, Jeremy!" Elena was shocked.

"I'm here to warn you all. If I see any of you at Jenna's funeral, I'll make sure that Sheriff Forbes deals with you." Jeremy warned, confusing Elena.

"What are you talking about, Jeremy? It's Jenna's funeral. I'm going to be there." Elena was shocked by Jeremy's harshness.

"Funerals are for humans who are mourning a loved one. They aren't for vampires who care about finding a decent snack. Once again. If I see any of you, that includes Caroline, I will make sure that Sheriff Forbes deals with you." Jeremy hissed. He went to leave the Boarding House, but Damon stopped him.

"What about Bonnie? She's supernatural, like the rest of us." Caroline questioned Jeremy.

"Unlike you all, Bonnie is a witch. She's less likely to try and turn the funeral into an all you can eat buffet." Jeremy rolled his eyes.

"So what? Bonnie, who isn't Jenna's family, is allowed to go to Jenna's funeral even though she's a witch, but I'm not allowed to go because I'm a vampire, even though Jenna is my aunt?!" Elena felt betrayed.

"Stay away." Jeremy used an old gun that Alaric got him to shoot Stefan, Caroline, Damon and Elena with two wooden bullets each. Walking out of the house, he left them all to deal with the bullets.

"It's official. Jeremy has gone insane." Stefan sighed as he ripped the bullets out of Caroline's stomach, feeling so bad for Elena.

"He's banned me from my own aunt's funeral." Elena cried, feeling so hurt and betrayed by Jeremy, who had driven away. Damon helped Elena get the bullets out of her shoulders before Elena did the same.

"We're not going to listen to him right? We're going to mourn Jenna's death just like the rest of them, right?" Caroline asked, hoping that they'd all agree.

"Jeremy has probably laced the whole place with Vervain and he's got Sherif Forbes keeping an eye out for us. Going there would probably get us all killed." Damon was right. Jeremy had gone to all lengths in order to keep Elena and her friends away.

"You know what? I'm going upstairs. If any of you need me, I'll be there." Elena gave up, taking the earrings off and removing her bracelet. Walking up to Damon's room, Damon followed Elena, wanting to comfort her the best he could.
