Arriving at her house, Elena smiled, sending Damon up to her room before she walked into the kitchen.
"Hey Jenna." Elena smiled, watching as Jenna turned around, a stern look on her face.
"Is everything okay?" Elena worriedly looked at Jenna, who sighed.
"Do you recognise this number? It kept calling me today." Jenna showed Elena her phone.
"No. Did you answer when it called?" Elena asked, confused.
"No. I was busy with some work and I didn't get to it in time." Jenna smiled, getting up. The doorbell rang, causing Jenna to walk over, Elena following her.
Opening the door, Jenna was confused as to who the raven-haired woman was, but Elena knew and started to panic.
"Hi. You must be Jenna." Isobel smiled, Jenna still confused.
"I'm Elena's mother." Isobel smiled, trying to act nice and kind.
"Isobel." Elena was scared. She moved Jenna out of Isobel's way, grabbing hold of the door.
"Hello, Elena. It's nice to see you again." Isobel was pretending that she hadn't threatened Elena only a few days before.
"Again?" Jenna looked at Elena, shocked.
"I- I..." Elena stuttered, hoping that Isobel would go away.
"So. You're the woman who's dating my husband." Isobel smiled, Jenna on the verge of tears.
"I need to speak to Elena. May I come in?" Isobel asked, Elena immediately opting to close the door.
"N- N- No! Don't- Don't invite her in." Elena warned Jenna as she backed away, confused and shocked.
"We need to talk, Elena." Isobel firmly spoke to Elena, who was one second away from trying to kill her own mother.
"NO!" Elena slammed the door in Isobel's face. Attempting to calm Jenna down, Jenna pushed Elena away, tears rolling down her face.
"Is Isobel the same Isobel who was married to Alaric?" Jenna paced.
"Yes...she is." Elena sighed, hearing Damon coming down the stairs.
"How is this possible? Alaric told me that Isobel was dead." Jenna was on the verge of breaking down.
"Well, sorry to disappoint you, but she's very much still alive. Kinda." Damon smiled.
"I- I can't believe this." Jenna was upset.
"I can explain everything, Jenna. Just sit down and I'll explain." Elena smiled, scared when Jenna backed away.
"No." Jenna sternly spoke, heading to the stair-case.
"No, Jenna. Please!" Elena watched as Jenna ran upstairs.
"Jenna! Please! No, wait, Jenna! Please, wait!" Elena cried out to Jenna, who had already made it into her room. The door being slammed in her face, Elena put her palm to the door, a single tear rolling down her cheek.
"Jenna, you have to talk to me. I- I need to explain what's going on. Jenna...please." Elena cried out to her aunt, who at this point, was on the floor crying her heart out.
"Elena, just leave her. She'll be okay for the night. Maybe just leave her and try in the morning." Damon ushered Elena to her room, giving her a huge hug when she laid in bed.
"I feel so guilty for not telling her. I mean, she has the right to know, and I just kept it from her..." Elena sighed.
"Look, Elena, just like Jeremy, you didn't tell her because you were protecting her. She may not know it, but really, you're saving her from learning that her boyfriend's not-so-dead wife is a vampire who would kill her." Damon was right and Elena knew that.
The morning came quickly. Elena slept in, considering that it was a Saturday.
Smelling bacon and eggs, Elena crept to the kitchen, seeing Damon with a spatula in his hand.
"I figured you and possibly your aunt could do with a nice breakfast." Damon smirked.
"You don't cook." Elena smiled.
"I do for you." Damon smiled, giving Elena a quick kiss.
"I'll go up and see if Jenna would like some." Elena sighed, walking upstairs. Getting to Jenna's bedroom door, Elena softly knocked, hoping that Jenna would at least come downstairs for breakfast.
"Jenna. We have breakfast downstairs if you'd like some?" Elena asked, hoping Jenna would open the door.
"Jenna?" Elena knocked on the door again, confused when Jenna didn't open it.
"Jen-" Before Elena could call her name again, Elena tried to open the door, with success.
"Jenna?" Elena asked, noticing that her bed hadn't been slept in. Searching the bathroom, Elena panicked.
"What's wrong?" Damon asked, confused.
"Jenna hasn't come down here at all?" Elena worriedly checked around.
"No...why?" Damon asked, now as worried as Elena.
"Jenna's gone. Her bed hasn't been slept in and she's not in the bathroom." Elena worried, going upstairs to grab her phone. Damon followed her, ignoring the food on the bench.
