"So you're taking care of the new fire fairy now?", I chuckle giving Stella a skeptical look. She's a good person but only to people who she trusts. Riven rolls his eyes next to me. He doesn't like her a lot. Well, it's vice versa so he never got to know the real Stella. 

"She'll be nice for sure", Sky says smiling naively as if this would change the way Stella behaves around people. She's hurting and she would to anything to make people not see it, nice or not. "You could do it for me", she tries persuading me again and I think about it once more. 

"She wouldn't want to waste her time with a new girl if she can hang out with that mysterious guy", Riven shrugs and I sigh. Ever since I've told him that I like someone else, he's always talking about it and trying to find out who he is. And he's making Sky more nervous about it. 

"Well, you could tell us about him", Sky agrees, "You're my sister. I don't want you to mack on some randon guy who could hurt you." I point at Riven and back to myself as everyone knows how we mack on each other from time to time, "Seriously?" 

"Riven's my best friend, that's something different. You wouldn't listen to me anyways." "Just trust me please, alright?", I groan and look back at Stella, "Okay, fine. I'll do it." "Poor little guy", Riven adds shaking his head and I hit his arm playfully.

"Hi, are you Stella?", a red-headed girl asks as I'm standing in front of Alfea waiting for her. "No, I'm Scar. Stella's busy so I agreed to show you around. And you are?" Stella is busy means she's afraid of letting people in. 

"Hey, Scar. I'm Bloom", she nods and gasps as she takes a look at the building in front of us, "This is huge." "It is. Let's begin. This is the school's garden here already. We sit here a lot and talk, go for a walk or study outside. You'll share a room with my friends and I. Riven for example sits right there, we're.. pretty close. He's my brother's best friend." 

Riven notices my look and grins at me so I roll my eyes. Bloom seems to understand. "Is he your boyfriend or something?" "No, definitely not", I shake my head and notice that she's staring at my scar. Yeah, my parents were pretty creative. "Did he do it to you?" "No", I reply shocked but I can also understands why she thinks about this. 

"I was born with this scar. Let's say it's my inheritance. The result of my powers." "What power do you have?" "Lightning and air. I'm also pretty sensitive to people's thoughts and emotions." "Does everyone have more powers? I'm only a fire fairy." 

"No, she's a fairy different from everyone. Got something to do with our mom as far as we're concerned", Sky comes over and tells her so I give him an angry look, "She's almost made someone suffocate once." 

"Sky! Don't dare talking about it", I snap at him feeling misunderstood. He knows how hard it hits me. "I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you who I am. Sky, her brother. And you are?", he completely ingores me. Great, my brother is completely into the new fire fairy. "I'm Bloom." 

"Okay, great you got to know each other. Sky, go back to Saul or Riven or your girlfriend, please", I stress reminding him of Stella. I don't want her to see this. "You mean the girlfriend that broke up with me? Whatever, I'll see you around, Bloom." 

"So which kingdom are you from?", I ask her wanting to change the subject before she can ask about my relationship to Sky. We're actually pretty close, he just talks a lot more than I do which includes talking about me as well. 

"Uh.. the kingdom of California", she chuckles and I furl my eyebrows. "America? Aren't you from this world?" „No, I'm not. I didn't even know this exists", she tells me, "Are you from here?" "My family's from Eraklyon", I let her know not mentioning the rest of the story. Just like Stella, I don't like talking about myself in front of new people. Not yet.

"But this place is boring from time to time. Thank god Stella has this ring from her mother with which she can visit other worlds, especially yours. We like to go out there. Maybe she'll borrow it to you." 

I guess Stella won't be amused but she owes me for showing Bloom around and this could also be the moment in which we're being nice to Bloom so she can decide what she wants to do. "Yeah, thanks. We could go there together", Bloom smiles and I nod. I mean, she's nice. But I already know the one reason why Stella won't be amused to live in a room with her. 

"Hey, I have to show another student around. I can show you our appartment and let you calm down after your ride here first. You're probably hungry", I chuckle knowing what people feel like when they first arrive here as I've watched them every year. It's always the same.
