"It doesn't matter where you hunt your enemies, they're scary, not the cabin."
"So mind fairies are good for something? Present. I'm in", Musa says quickly and I nod. "Wait, we're going with them?", Terra asks confused. "No, we're not going", Bloom decides, "We're not allowed to be anywhere near this cabin. It's not safe for fairies. Okay, all fairies go back to Alfea now-"
"Bloom, I'll go with them, okay. I need that. Finally, my magic is useful", Musa tells her. "You can decide what you do, but you cannot decide for us", I make clear looking seriously at Bloom. "Yeah, unlike you I cannot break in someone's mind", Bloom replies harshly making me shrug.
I've had a good reason for it. The more she discusses, the higher the risk is. "Scar-", Sky begins but I shake my head so he turns to Bloom, "Bloom, we're going to do this. Call Silva and bring the others back to Alfea. I'll let you know when we've got Beatrix."
Bloom huffs but we turn around and get into the car. "What did you do?", Stephen asks while driving to the cabin. "Bloom wanted to stop me from telling you guys. I had to do something. Every second counts." "It's fine, you didn't mean to manipulate her", Sky says and everyone else nods which makes me feel a lot more normal than before.
I stop the engine in front of the cabin and we quickly get out of the car. I'm glad that Musa joins us. I could need some help with the fairy part of this. "Can we go to a playground for once or something nice?", she asks jokingly trying to overact her fear.
"A playground would be less scary?", Sky asks blutnly. Well, he's right. A playground wouldn't be any different in this situation. "Ask Scar, she's been there at night before", Riven grins next to me making me chuckle. The joke is about me, but his humor is still great. "I wonder who joined her", Sky replies sarcastically.
"Are you sure that you want to do this?", I ask Musa afraid that she might get hurt but she nods so we go inside. Damn, that's actually dark. "She's upstairs", Musa says suddenly and now I can feel it, too. I feel Beatrix but I have a bad feeling.
Stephen goes upstairs in front of us while we all look around in case there are any scrapers. "Beatrix", I whisper as I see her on the ground and run over to her to feel her pulse, "She's alive." "Let's take her and go", Riven says. "Okay."
"She's unconscious. How was she able to text Stella?", Musa asks the important question making us all nervous. We knew it's a trap but that doesn't make it any less scary. "Oh, shit", Riven curses when a scraper appears in front of us and attacks him first.
Riven defends himself with his sword and a few more scrapers appear. I take the sword that dad gave me earlier and fight while I use my mind fairy magic to support us. "How many are they?", Sky asks but before I can count them, I see a lilac light smashing Riven's arrow.
I look at where this came from and dad appears in front of us. "Andreas?", Sky whispers, "What's this for?" "Something's wrong with him", Musa notices, "That's not Andreas." "No, dad, it's still you", I whisper feeling his soul somewhere around me.
"Run", Riven tells Musa and we get ready to fight. Fight against our own dad. "Musa's right, it's not dad", I exclaim while I duck and think about the next move to help Stephen who's currently dad's victim.
"There's someone who has felt anger for many years. The person who controls him must have known him for many years", I tell the others. While I concentrate on Andreas' mind, he pushes me back to the ground. He's also driven by so much anger that he pushes Stephen back.
Sky is about to stand up but dad turns to Riven who's on the ground. Dad raises his sword. I don't hesitate a second but throw myself in front of Riven. I wouldn't let him be killed by my dad. Dad lunges to hurt me with his sword but stops himself when we hear a certain voice.
"Andreas, don't!", Saul yells. Dad lowers his arm for a moment and looks at us. I only feel dad right now. "Take Beatrix away", Saul orders. "Take her, Riv", I tell him being glad that he gets out of here. It's only the four of us and Saul has defeated dad already.
Stephen's won a fight against him. Us four, we'll make it. "I'm not going without you", Riven stutters and I can feel that he's shocked that I have thrown myself in front of him. "This is not the right time to be a hero, now go", I shout at him seriously so he finally gets away and is safe.
Riven understands how serious I am and takes Beatrix to get downstairs and out of this cabin. I look around and Saul nods. We fight again, although it's mainly us defending ourselves against dad. Dad pushes Sky and I to the ground and then holds Saul underneath him.
Dad has pushed me so hard to the ground that I need a lot more time to stand up again. Sky is back on his feet again. "No, please, please. Please, Andreas, don't do it", Sky whispers. "Dad, please. Don't-", I plead my voice breaking.
Andreas breathes out and looks at all of us slowly. "Do what you have to do", Andreas orders looking at Sky but turns to me then, "Do it." I feel that the enemy inside of him is coming back again. It would only take seconds for him to kill Saul.
Sky reaches his sword and I notice Stephen standing up but I could tell that dad was talking to me when he said that we have to do it. I take my chance and get up to push Sky away and stab dad with the sword that he gave me earlier. It would have killed Sky mentally if he had done it.
"I'm sorry", I cry, "I'm so sorry, dad." "I'm sorry", dad repeats my words his voice breaking as he's bleeding. I can feel that he's sorry for what happened all these years. "Ahh!", I exclaim feeling all the pain that dad is feeling in this moment, the physical as well as the psychological pain. His wounds are hurting, his heart stops beating, his last thought is our family being together. "Scar, what-", I hear Stephen yell behind me before I faint.
