when it's time to party

POV Scar:

"Who's ready for a good party?", Riven asks grinning when we get out of the specialists' car with Kat and one of her friends. "It looks like you're ready for it", Kat replies smiling. "It's our first free day", I sigh happily, "I want to dance."

"Now that you're single you're changing into complete party mood, huh?" "I've been single all the time", I reply as we enter the bar and see the girls already. Sky goes over to Bloom and I greet the other girls first.

"Here", I say to Dane as I give him a shot of vodka. "You want me to drink with you?", Dane looks at me skeptically. "I'm pretty sure you're not an asshole, you just couldn't be with the person you wanted." "But you can", Dane sighs.

"Just because Riven wants to be with me, doesn't mean that it's easy for me, you know", I reply shrugging and raise the shot, "Cheers." Dane raises his shot as well and we drink the vodka quickly. "I'm sorry for being such a dick today." "It's fine. Just.. try to take things a little less seriously."

"Ladies", Riven announces as he lets himself fall down next to us bringing us beer, "You probably like craft beer. It's strong. Strong beer for the mental fairy, gives you a light feeling and lets you forget about this emotional shit. For you, Terra, cider. It's got a bit of alcohol but it's more like an apple juice. Now, S, you get a whiskey."

"You know, that's the best part about you. You remember my drink and just bring it to me", I reply gladly about getting my drink. Time goes on and Riven starts flirting with Flora. I feel Terra getting uncomfortable so I try to distract her.

When our first drinks are empty, Flora leaves to get some fresh air and Terra and I get new drinks. "Thanks", Riven says to Terra as she gives him a new bottle of beer, "That's the nicest thing you've ever done for me."

"You know that's how we are today, act nice", Terra states sharply, "I don't want to judge you but Flora's my best friend so if you hurt her-" "Calm down, we're just having fun." "Sadly, it won't stay at just having fun. You always go further."

"You can seriously calm down, Terra", I smile at her, "Riven's just playing around and trying to make me jealous. You can trust me." "Like Dane, right? He needs more than a new friend to get over it." "I've always made clear what it is."

"Yeah, you just wanted to have fun, right? Is Scar also just fun to you?" "Terra, it's fine", I try to calm down the situation but Riven forms his hand to a fist and slams it against the table before storming off. "He's a dickhead", Terra rolls her eyes.

I smile at her lightly understanding both her and him. "Terra, I know he wasn't treating you well and I wish you would trust me when I say he's sorry about it. Riven just never learned how to apologize to friends", I say softly, "Thanks for caring but I'm fine with it."

"I just.. You know what happened to me. It looks like he's doing it to you and Flora as well." "I understand your thoughts but he doesn't hurt us. Flora and I know how it works. Riven's been my best friend before. I've made some mistakes as well. I just don't talk about it", I confess to her and I know she would want to know about it but I won't talk about Stephen unless I have to.

Terra and I continue talking until I get some fresh air as well. "Oh yeah, I'm super scared", I hear Sky groan into his telephone. Of course he's talking to Saul. "Or what?" "I just want to know about the consequences. A speech in Silva style or in Rosalind style? These days, I don't understand your moral point of view."

"Oh you're mentioning mom? How mature. I'm back at a normal time and I'll make sure Scar's fine." "Pretty hard", Bloom comments what we've heard and Sky shrugs. "I know but I finally feel responsible for myself. I was free but now he's back."

"Isn't it possible that he's just taking care of you in case it's not Andreas who you need?", Bloom suggests. "That's why he made him leave? Andreas hasn't spoken to me at all since the meeting. I just started to understand him." "Dad and mom were having a fight, he's trying to better", I state and Sky gives me a confused look.

"Dad has made mistakes. It's a wonder that she stayed with him. But dad and I were talking and he apologized to me before he's behaved differently again this morning. Still, he wanted to talk to you as well these days. He'll apologize to you as well, Sky", I explain and he nods slowly. "I'll let you two have a conversation", I smile at them knowing that Bloom is the right support for him, "But don't disrespect Saul like that again."

I get back into the bar and start dancing with my friends, mainly Riven. Everyone's so serious these days. Having a little fun doesn't hurt anyone. We dance to slow music as well and I enjoy dancing so freely again.

I haven't danced like this since way before Rosalind arrived. "What is he doing here", Riven suddenly mumbles looking to the door so I follow the look on his face. "No idea but let's just ignore him", I say softly but Riven sighs and storms off. I immediately follow him.

"Scar, we need-", Stephen begins as I walk past him but I shake my head. "I've got no idea why you're here but I need to see Riven now." "No, Scar, give me-" "Just leave me alone." "This is important so-" "No, Stephen, not now. Why are you even here?", I snap at him but don't wait for his answer but go outside instead.

"Come on, share some with me", I say easily when I see Riven smoking outside. "I'm not going to pull you down with me anymore, S. It'll only be drama when others see it." "Did he say something to you?", I ask confused.

"The way he looks at you is enough." "Since when do we care about that? You didn't care about Saul when he told us to stay away from each other." "Yeah, but he's the perfect son in law. Maybe I'm trying to be a better person. That involves me trying to be a better friend to you."

"Riv, my mom loves you", I state. "Yeah, I was pretty good when I helped you find her", Riven grins and I'm glad he smiles more lightly now, "What are we doing here, Scar? What's our plan?" "We-" "Scar, we need you", Terra comes over to me quickly, "We've found Beatrix."
