"Forgive your enemies, it'll only annoy them."

Alex gives me a confused look at first which turns to consternation. "What.. how? How is that possible, Scar.. You-" "I didn't want to kill him", I cry feeling a crack in my core, "I didn't want to.. I-" "Come here." Alex surprises me by pulling me into his arms tightly. Why would he-? My mind magic tells me that he believes me. He feels sorry for me. He knows how serious this is.

"I didn't want to, Alex, I didn't-" "You didn't have a chance?", Alex asks me understandingly. I nod slowly. "My uncle Sebastian was a blood witch and started a war against us. He took control over dad so dad attacked us.. he's held Beatrix captivated and we tried to save her. Sky, Riven, Saul and I. It's been him against us. Sebastian gave him so much power. He overpowered us until it's only been him against Saul. In a quick moment of consciousness he told us to do it so I did. I've killed dad to save Saul. I've killed dad so Sky wouldn't have to do it."

I don't know if Alex understands anything as I've been crying while explaining but I can tell that his reaction is quite honorable. He doesn't let go of me. He doesn't judge me. He's still holding me. "I'm sorry that you had to go through this", Alex whispers against my temple, "I'll make sure that you'll never have to experience this again. I'm here." Alex stands up and gives me his hand. "What-" "We're driving back to the chalet and we'll spend the weekend together. Just you and I, vulnerable but together."

"I assume you didn't know about Sebastion for a long time. How'd you find out?", Alex asks me as we sit down on the chalet's couch. "Sky and I didn't know about anything. We were told that mom has left us and dad died in war. Last year, when Rosalind came back, Saul told us that he's killed dad. Sky was angry at him for a long time and I just couldn't believe it. I would have loved to be angry, too, but when dad came back and Saul was arrested, I knew that I needed to help him."

"Wait.. Saul Silva, the perfect soldier, was in prison?", Alex repeats unbelievingly. "Dad and Rosalind managed to get him there with the help of queen Luna." "Ah, this is why Solaria and Eraklyon are quite distant.." "Not only. When Alfea, a school in Solaria, needed their help the most, they didn't send any troops. It's a shame how queen Luna has let down students who partly can't even defend themselves", I judge her.

"So what happened after Saul was arrested? Did they let him leave?" "No", I chuckle frustratedly, "He was on his way to the court when we saved him. Never in a million years would queen Luna help him when she's on dad's side. My friends and I, we brought Saul back and Rosalind pardoned him when she needed his help with the military against the blood witches."

"Sebastian?" "Yes, he initiated this war. I feel like he had so much anger inside of him that has increased over the years by being misunderstood and left alone.. it wouldn't have had to end like this. In our last fight, he told mom and I that she's his sister. I felt numb so the girls killed him on their own. A few days later, mom found letters that dad has left for us. That's how we found out."

"I'm sorry for..-" "My family drama? No, don't be, please. I was glad to find out about the truth." "I'm also glad that you're so honest around me. I appreciate it, Scar. There was no need for you to tell me about this. It's your life only." "I didn't want our relationship to start based on lies. If you want to leave.. just-" "Scar", Alex whispers seriously, "I won't leave, especially not now."

Alex and I enjoyed these two days in the chalet. It's only been us, our honesty and deep conversations. We've laughed and we've cried but we've mainly spent some emotional moments with each other. I don't regret being honest with him for a second. It'd be perfect if his family wouldn't visit Eraklyon tomorrow.

"I'll let you get some rest now", Alex says softly as he walks me up to my room after we've arrived back at the castle. "No, stay", I ask him, "Please." "If you cannot sleep without me, I guess I will have to stay."

"King Edward, Queen Rosamund", William greets Alex's parents by taking a bow. "My king, my queen, welcome to Eraklyon", Ronan imitates him. God, I'm nervous. What am I supposed to do? Take a bow? A Queen wouldn't take a bow in front of another queen. This is different, they make me feel like I have to do this. They've already been eyeing me like a piece of meat. Alex holds my hands tightly all this time.

"Mother, father, have you had a calm journey here?", Alex asks them very politely for being their son. He also shakes their hand. I couldn't imagine myself shaking Saul's hand. "Of course", his dad replies in a deep, uninterested voice, "So this is where you've been spending the past weeks."

Why does it sound like he's disgusted? Alex was so right about them.. What am I supposed to say? Send them back to Sparx? Loved to. Bad idea. "Hello king Edward, Queen Rosamund, I'm Scar", I greet them politely giving them my hand. They look like they'd be forced to accept this. They nod and walk past us up to Sky, mom and Saul.

Now Prince Dominic and Daphne stand in front of us. I won't call her Princess Daphne. She's not able to be a queen. Her and Diaspro.. "Brother", Alex greets him a little bit happier than his parents but he's still stiff. "Alexander, I've heard you feel quite well here. Princess Scar, it's good to get to know you", Prince Dominic gives me his hand rather forced, "This is my wife Princess Daphne." I can't say it's good to see her. It's not good to see her.

"Princess Scar and I are glad that you are all here. Thank you for managing to have time for us", Alex helps me. "I have heard that you've had a hard time", Daphne pretends to care about me, "I'm sorry for what happened." I'd love to just punch her in the face. Her and her lies. "I'm sorry, too", Diaspro appears next to them making me open my eyes widely, "It's good to see you again. I'm thankful for being here." How I hate her stupid faked grin. I exchange a look with Sky. He's not pleased either.
