"Thank me later for not embarrassing you any further."

POV Olivia:

I'm extremely glad that Andreas and I were talking so seriously yesterday. The situation only gets worse when Beatrix is missing the next morning. Of course, one good evening is enough. I sigh as I watch Andreas running up and down the room.

"Someone must have seen her", he mumbles looking to the ground. "She's young, Andreas, maybe she just went away for the night. She'll be back this afternoon", I try to comfort him but he looks at me angrily.

"She's not a stupid random teenager like everyone else here!", Andreas snaps at me so I take a step back, "Those kids here can run away but not Beatrix." "I'm just trying to help, Andreas", I state slowly, "She's young and kids stay away from home from time to time. That's just how it is."

"She's like a.. no she's my daughter, Olivia." "So Scar and Sky are just a placeholder or what are you trying imply?", I say reproachfully. I've had enough of this behavior. "No, of course, they're not. I'm just.. What if she won't come back? What if something happened to her?", Andreas asks me his voice breaking and I sigh.

I wouldn't feel any differently if Scar or Sky went missing. Of course he's worried. "She'll come back, Andreas. You raised her to be a strong young woman", I comfort him softly and he nods. "You're right. She's not a random young girl, she's my little storm."

It actually hurts to hear his nickname for Beatrix. Scar and Sky want nothing more than to have a good relationship with their dad. I want Beatrix to be a part of this family, of course. She belongs to Andreas.

But it would be great if this family construction would work out for everyone involved. "Thank you, Liv. You're right. You were always right", Andreas whispers pulling me into a hug and I nod against his shoulder.

POV Scar:

"Have you been talking to mom?", I ask dad another day to find our how they're doing. I'm glad dad and I are on a good way to being a family. "We've got worse problems, seriously, Scar", dad mumbles harshly making me furl my eyebrows, "Don't be late for class." What's his damn problem now?

"It's not like I've still got ten minutes", I reply bluntly, "No worries, I'm not going to disturb you anymore." Dad looks at me surprised and I think it's possible that he would be friendly now, but I turn around and go back to our training place. He can shove his mood changes up his ass.

"What's gotten into you? Haven't found the right lipstick?", Riven mocks me making me roll my eyes. "She's more like the girl who needs to find the right sword, Riv", Kat adds grinning at me and I greet her. "Excuse me, princess", Riven nods.

"What's up with you two?", Sky joins us, "Stephen looks frustrated." "So what?" "You should be a nicer girlfriend, S", Riven taunts me jokingly. "It's not like we're dating", I shrug rolling my eyes. "Wait, there's trouble in paradise?", Riven asks surprised.

"Do I need to talk to him?", Sky adds instantly but I shake my head. "He just decided to move on", I say normally. "How-" "What's so interesting, Scar? Something you want to share with the class?", Stephen suddenly interrupts Riven next to me.

Yeah, we might not have listened to him but this is giving me a first world's school vibe. "No, I'm sorry", I sigh slapping him in my imagination. He could have asked Riven or Sky but no, it's me. Look's like we're not only over, but he's also trying to prove something.

"I assume you haven't listened to me", he continues, "We all know that you are Andreas' daughter so if you want to prove that you don't have to listen to me, just come here." "No, I'm sorry. I'll listen to what you say now", I repeat myself and I feel the others' look on my face.

Why is he still here? He could just go back home. "Come on, it's you against Dane." "What? I'm not going to fight against a girl, not Scar", Dane says which provokes me so I walk up to Dane and Stephen to be in front of everyone, "I'm going to hurt her."

"Who's on the ground first", Stephen orders and goes aside so Dane and I face each other. "Beat him up, S!", Riv calls and I grin at Dane. I'm used to being underestimated. Plus, dad and Stephen have provoked me already so I'm glad to be able to let some steam off.

"Ten bucks on Dane", I hear Shane from the second row say and Kat giggles. "Twenty on Scar." Let's make Kat win. Stephen gives us the signal to start and I let Dane attack me. He tries to push me with his foot first but I parry his attack with my hand easily.

Dane tries to hit my shoulder but I when I see his right shoulder move, I duck and hit his stomach. This scene continues until Dane is provoked by me defending all his attacks so he reaches for his sword giving me an angry look. I take my sword as well and now it's me attacking him so I make use of the surprise effect.

Dane defends himself well but I feel him having a hard time. He won't withstand my attacks any longer. Right when he blocks my sword in the air above our heads, I push his chest with my foot and he falls back to the ground.

"Well done", Stephen comments this scene professionally and I smile triumphantly. What did he expect? I'm a great fighter if I'm in the mood to be one. I look around and see most of the others smile at me. I'm pretty proud of myself for having been so concentrated, especially with Stephen being our teacher for now.

"Scar made use of the surprise effect. She let Dane believe that she would only defend his attacks and when he thought he's about to win, she made the final move. You have to think like your opponent to be able to win", Stephen explains before Dane and I go back to the others.

"Thanks, Scar", Kat whispers to me from behind so I grin at her proudly. "Anytime." "Well done", Sky smiles at me proudly, "Looks like you're not my little sister anymore." "I've won many fights already. Plus, you're the younger twin", I correct him.

"But you don't let others control you and your feelings anymore. You've made a huge progress", Sky tells me and I think about it for a moment. He's right. I never thought about the past years anymore, not since mom is here.

I've calmed down. "But we're still having angry sex, right?", Riven whispers to me making me gigle lightly. My brother gives us a disgusted look joking, "You could make some progress, too, Riv."
