Stephen's POV:

I can't believe it. I never thought I'd see Alexander again and here we go. Until today, I've never had a problem with him but I exactly know why he's here and it's not because of Scar. It's about power and revenge. I tried not to care about this coronation and marriage but now I'm furious. Only on the inside of course. Why of all the people is he the one standing right in front of me? What have I done? 

"I see you're wearing the uniform from Solaria", he speaks up pointing to the Solarian logo on my chest. God, am I continuing a normal conversation with him or am I going to just beat him up? "I'm loyal. What did you expect?", I mumble. 

What irritates me even more is Riven staring right between us. One more person who's going to hate the man by her side. Maybe we could team up and- No, no women is worth being imprisoned for killing a prince. At least he's not a crown prince. Well, his brother shouldn't be one either because he's annoying as hell. I'm surprised by my words, too. 

"Your plan was to go back to Eraklyon. Wasn't that the reason why Bec-" "Oh, don't mention her", I immediately snap at him but hold myself back before I'd push my knife into his chest. I can't do it here in front of William and Ronan. "I know exactly why you're here so be decent for once in a lifetime. This is a marriage not a random fli-" 

William coughs interrupting the scene that I'm making. I'm embarrassing myself and he's getting what he wants. "I see, you're still a hothead, Mr. Silva", Ronan greets me giving me his hand so I finally turn away from Alexander. I see Riven watching me confused next to me. This boy is going to be a pain in my ass, too. How long are we even staying? Hopefully Alexanders is going to leave before us. 

"Still not a hothead. Just trying to do what's right", I correct him but reach out my hand to him as well. "You a hothead? What have you done during your trainee time?", Sky asks chuckling. "Oh a lot of things like-", Alexanders starts but I interrupt him harshly. "If you want to be honest, why don't you start with yourself and the reason why you're here?" 

"You know exactly that this is not my reason. You are smart enough to know how beneficial this agreement is for both countries. Don't say anything or it's your fault that we won't settle for this arrangement." Am I supposed to see this as a dare? Even if, what could he do? Scar could have anyone else. The prince of-

"You're still here", Scar shows up in front of us happily, "Indulding in memories I see?" How I hate the sarcastic tone in her voice that she's trying to hide. I usually love her humour but right now, I hate her for being in this situation.

"It's been a long time since the military training", Alexanders nods professionally, "Are you free right now, princess?" Princess. The way he speaks her title. I hate it, the title and his attitude. "Of course", she nods smiling at him whereas she gives me a warning look before turning away. 

It's not my fault that he's trying to play with you, Scar. I'd love to shout it after her but I need to talk to her alone first. What if this is my fault because I never said goodbye or because I fought for her too late? I mean I didn't say goodbye because we don't have a chance anyways.. but that doesn't mean she should go out with someone else. God, I'm being so toxic right now.

"Did Ronan leave?", I ask William confused as I take my bag from the ground hanging it around my shoulder. "I've indirectly told him to leave and prepare for a meeting between him and I. I was worried that he might watch experience you having a an outburst", William explains to me politely but I know that he's laughing inside of him. 

He's pretending to be this strict consultant when in reality, he's just a typical fifty years old man who likes to drink a beer and watch football in the first world. But he's keeping on his wall pretty well because Scar would never see him dressed in anything but his suit. "An outburst?", I hear Riven behind me and feel his hand on my shoulder when he grins at me, "Someone being jealous? Where's your serious attitude?" 

"Oh fuck off, Riven", I hiss annoyedly. If it wasn't for Alexander, I would hate him the most. This stupid grin that Scar likes so much. He had the courage to say goodbye to her. No, I'm not going to admit that he's better.. No, he's not better than me. I've bought a fucking house for her and I. I'm not smoking weed with her.. not like when I was younger. I would have if I was a few years younger like.. Riven. Okay, gotcha. 

"Mr. Silva?", William speaks up trying to sound indifferent but I can tell he's more than shocked. I'm not even sure if he knows about Alexander's and my time as military trainees. When I don't reply to him, he glares at me warningly. "Don't dare to butt in this relationship." "What's that supposed to mean?", Sky asks confused. 

"Nothing", I immediately shut down but Riven's stupid grin doesn't let go off me. "It should be nothing", William adds, "This time." "Stephen, what's going on?", Sky repeats his question and I sigh heavily. Can I tell my brother that I hate his son? No, it sounds wrong to call him his son and I also don't hate him. I know how close they are but if I see Sky as his son, I'm having some pretty wrong feelings towards Scar. 

"Come on, man. It's not like we're a fan of this prince of whatever stupid country", Riven rolls his eyes. "He's the prince of Sparx, Riven." "Whatever." "So?", Sky nods towards me. Did I mention that I'd rather be alone here? "I've been dating a girl that Alexander liked", I sum it up. We didn't hate each other back then. We got along pretty well until Becca came in between which was fine until now. He's only trying to take revenge on me for being with Becca by being with Scar. He's the only person who could have known about Scar and I.

"To be fair, you've been dating his ex girlfriend who left in a hurry without any explanation and suddenly you come in between", William adds making me look at him shocked. How'd he know the story and why'd he tell it? This is not what this is about. Of course, Riven chuckles next to me. 

"It's my personal life, William. You've been a teacher, not my brother." "That's right but I was also quite busy bringing you two back into the actual topic of the class which was not fighting with one another over a girl." "He was fighting, I already had her", I add mumbling. Sky gasps. "I didn't know you're-" 

"An ass", Riven drops his chin, "I knew you're not innocent." "He's the ass, alright? He's taking revenge by being with Scar. You should worry about him." "I mean.. I got your back if you plan something", Riven shrugs and I kind of think he's overreacting but I'm also glad that we've got a common rival. Alexander should be gone soon.
