"Same designer?"

"Sky", I say as I stand next to the TV but he doesn't react, "Sky! I need your help." "What is it, Scar?" "I promised Saul to make coffee for him. How do I do it?" "I've got no idea, Scar." "Great", I mumble but quickly find the coffee powder in the kitchen.

Saul always pours water into it so I decide to take a few tablespoons and pour water over it. I also taste it because I'm pretty curious. "Yuck! How can anyone drink this?", I mumble and put it back on the kitchen table. "Scar, you're not supposed to drink coffee yet", Saul chuckles. "It's disgusting. How can you drink that?"

Saul looks at me cautiously and takes the glass to taste it. "Scar." "Yes?" "You don't know how to make coffee yet but I'll show you how it's done, okay?", Saul smiles after he's made a grimace when tasting it, "You need hot water-" "Can we go for a walk first?" Saul chuckles knowing that I tend to be super active somedays. "Give me ten minutes." "Fine."

"I didn't know that you've asked Sky for help", Saul smiles proudly, "And you've put way too much powder into it." "I know how to make coffee now", I giggle, "I was told by the best. Plus, cold coffee is great. I love cold brew."

"You still have to use hot water first", Saul corrects me but his voice softens as he gives me a hug, "Thanks, Scar. I'm glad I could see it from your point of view. I'm so proud of you." "Had the best teacher in anything", I reply thankfully and let my head rest on his shoulder.

"What happened in here?", I wonder as I get back to our appartment and see the girls standing in the living room. They look like they've had a hard evening. Where's Stella? "Bloom visited the first world and was attacked by a burned one", Musa tells me and I look at Bloom worriedly.

"Are you okay? Did you kill the burned one?" "No, but I hope Miss Dowling did", she replies, "I'm fine, just tired. Thanks for the help." "Of course", Terra smiles at her so Bloom and Aisha go back to their room.

"Hey, Terra. I'm sorry about Riven. He can be an ass, but you already know that", I apoologize to her as they've been friends before. "It's fine. I'm sorry about hurting him. That's not who I am." "But maybe who you need to be from time to time", I smile at her knowing that it's not easy for her.

I even enjoyed watching her tonight until it became too dangerous. She defended herself. "Whenever something's going on here, just call me, alright?", I offer the girls and they nod. "Next time you're in for the adventure", Musa jokes and I giggle before heading back to my room.

"Welcome back, Stella", I smile at her widely after Musa made such a good joke about her wearing the same clothes as yesterday. I'm pretty sure I know where she was last night. Great, Saul. I was thrown out, but he didn't catch Stella.

"Where's Bloom?", she immediately asks. "How about a welcome back?", I joke. "She's had a hard night because of you." "Where's my ring?" "The burned one's got it", Bloom admits and Stella looks angry. Her mom is going to freak out. "What?"

"Calm down, princess", Musa shrugs. "Don't tell me to calm down and don't use my title as an insult against me." "What, are you really a princess?", Bloom asks excitedly. "Yes, I am. Indeed. My mother is a queen. Scar here is a princess as well-"

"No need to talk about me though", I mumble. "And the ring that you've lost is a part of Solaria's inheritance. For someone from the first world, it doesn't matter but ask one of our roommates what you've done."

"Not worse than even giving it to her", Aisha adds, "Dowling has locked the creature up. If you hadn't sneaked away, you would have heard how angry she was." "Okay, I'll better leave. Looks like this is something between you guys", I shrug, "Stella, I'll talk to you later."

"Magic is everywhere in nature and here in our stone circle, it's even stronger. This cauldron shows if you've got the power to concentrate your magic. You're going to learn how to connect with other elements later on but in the first year, it's all about your birth power for you", Dowling introduces us to the new lesson.

"Earth", she comments as Terra concentrates on fulfilling the task, "Soil, sand, stones and any kind of flowers." "Water. The lakes and seas of the world as well as the molecules that exist in every organism."

"The ghost. Thoughts, memories and dreams." "Air. Temperature, speed, noises and electrical characteristics." "Whatever the element, the emotions are the same with every fairy."

It's Bloom's turn next and then me before the lesson ends. Bloom stands at the cauldron and Dowling tells her to open herself to the magic around her and to overcome her doubts. "Concentrate on positive emotions only."

"Think of your parents and concentrate on how much you love them", Aisha adds as the other students begin to whisper. I wish I could help her but I'm bad at this exercise myself. I basically suck at everything that involves magic so I'm glad that Farah persuaded Saul to let me join the specialists as well this year.

"It's not working." "Stop thinking about it. Magic is-" "Emotions. I've listened to you. I know what to do. It's just not working. Can Scar continue?" I sigh standing up as Farah nods to me. She knows exactly that I won't be any better than Bloom.

I'll just give everyone a reason to laugh. "Don't think about it", Farah immediately advices me knowing that I've never made it before. At first, I look at the cauldron but then I try and close my eyes as I hold the metal. Nothing happens. Neither mind nor air.

"Concentrate on positive emotions", Farah tells me just like she did with Bloom but it's already freaking me out. "Think about your dad", Terra tries helping me but as I open my eyes, I see my dad standing under a tree in front of me.
