"She was born with the gift of interrupting in the worst moment."

POV Olivia:

"It's so calm today", Saul sighs when we finally sit down on his couch. This week has been exhausting. From grieving myself to trying to take care of my children, I feel like I've failed them all. Andreas, Sky, Scar, Saul.

I should have talked a lot more to Sky and Scar this week. "What's on your mind?", Saul asks me tapping onto the spot next to him so I nod sitting down next to him. "I should have talked to Sky and Scar a lot more", I regret.

"Olivia", Saul says softly taking my hands, "You did nothing wrong. It's a tough time for the three of you. But that's what you have me for. I'm here, always will be." "I.. Saul, I could have stopped him from leaving. I knew that he was about to do something but I didn't know that-"

"This is not your fault", Saul states sharply, "Liv, you're not responsible for anyone. Andreas knew the risk. You couldn't have stopped him. He's always been stubborn. That's not your fault."  "Thank you", I whisper and lay my arms around his neck letting my chin rest on his shoulder, "I've missed you, Saul. I can't even tell you how much I've missed you."

"I've missed you too, Liv", Saul replies quietly giving me a kiss on my head. I loosen the grip around him but we're still close. Our faces aren't even an inch away from the other. I realize that Saul is looking at me slowly getting closer second for second.

Why do I feel like we're twenty again? Why do I feel so insecure, even more the closer he gets? It feels like back then when we were in the bar together. One of those nights when I closed the bar so he stayed until I was done. Well, him and I being in the bar alone, we stayed a little longer. I instinctively close my eyes and lean in.

"Saul, we need you!", I hear Scar's voice and open my eyes to see that she's suddenly stormed into his apartment. "Scar", Saul exclaims shocked letting go of my hands, "Haven't I closed the door?"

"You gave me a key. I grew up here", Scar reminds us bluntly and we nod feeling embarrassed. "Yeah, right." "I would love to ask what's going on here but we really need you right now." "What's happened?", Saul asks confused and I give Scar a surprised look.

What would be so important? "Well, it's not my personal issue so I would rather have you follow me. I can promise you that it's quite important. I would have asked about you two if it wasn't this important to go now."

"I'm coming", Saul nods and stands up turning around to me before leaving, "I'll be back as soon as I can." I'm quite glad that he always wears his uniform. It looks so good on him. I nod and promise him to wait here until they're back.

POV Scar:

"I assume all of you are aware of the seriousness of the situation. As long as we're not sure about how to proceed, no one is allowed to find out any detail about what happened today at the graveyard. No one is allowed to know that one of the fairies of this school isn't in control of the dragon flame anymore", Saul warns us after we've told him about what's happened. "I know it's bad that Bloom has killed.. that Rosalind is dead", Terra comments, "Still, I think it's a lot worse that Rosalind has killed Ms. Dowling."

"Yes, but the only fact that we currently know for sure is that Rosalind is dead. Thank you Sky", Saul explains turning to Sky as he brings the machine to hear and see Queen Luna when she's holding a speech, "I've made an agreement with Bawani. This is supposed to keep Bloom out of prison." "What's this?", Musa asks confused. „An instrument of torture", I answer her remembering how I used them on myself and how Riven took them off for me, „They block her magic."

"She lost control because of the crystal. She's in control of her magic again. Bloom is not a danger anymore", Aisha makes clear as she realizes what's happening right now. Shit went down with Bloom killing Rosalind. "I'm sorry but those were the conditions."

"It's okay. I've done it. I won't defend myself now", Bloom mumbles. I furl my eyes as I watch her. She doesn't look sad or angry, she looks like she doesn't even know what she's thinking. Watching her getting the bonds around her hands makes me shiver as I know the feeling of this.

"Bawani is going to convenede a tribunal. Queen Luna is going to decide." "Great", Stella sigh. "You expect us to go to class and pretend that everything's normal?", Musa asks confused. "No, because nothing is normal. Queen Luna is holding a speech in a moment."

I'm sorry for Saul. Him and Farah were good friends but instead of being sad about her death, he takes care of us. I would have to talk to Saul afterwards. He needs someone to talk to as well.

"Citizens of Solaria, I've got a tragic news. Rosalind Hale, principal of Alfea, is dead. A great loss, not only for the students but for the whole country. She was one of the bravest fairies that the world has ever seen, respected by her allys and feared by her enemies. However, fear cannot determine our actions. Someone is responsible and we're going to hold him accountable, blood witches. Their hatred for us is well known but an offence like this is conducted by their leader Sebastian Valtor. Every witch that follows him is an enemy of the crown. We're going to defend ourself in the best military way possible and just to make sure this is clear: This is a declaration of war."

I gulp when Queen Luna finishes her speech. Why would she lie? And why would she declare war? Of course, we have to find a way to stop Sebastian but he's a lot stronger than us right now. He could attack us immediately. Words like hers only provoke someone like Sebastian.

"You've heard her", Saul says, "We have to be cautious. Bloom, you're going to stay here, of course, but you have to prepare yourself for the tribunal. Everyone else is going to act like everything's normal. We have to talk to Queen Luna and Bawani about their plans first before we act."

The girls have left but I stay until it's only Saul and I. I didn't even have a lot of time to deal with dad's death and we already have to prepare for war. "Scar, what are you waiting for?", Saul asks me as if he's being my teacher right now.

"How are you doing? I mean because of Fa-" "I'm fine." "Yeah, you need to work on your certainty", I mumble. "Scar, Farah meant a lot to all of us. She was mine and your mom's friend and she's been there for Sky and you. But we have to concentrate on our situation right now. I'll grieve afterwards." "I know that we're in a serious situation", I nod, "But I'm here for you as well. You've been through a lot and you're not alone."

"Thank you, Scar", Saul smiles at me proudly and hugs me tightly, "I'm so proud of you. But I need you to be ready for war as well. We won't make it without you." "Like you wouldn't make it without mom?", I grin now remembering what I've seen earlier. "You couldn't be quiet about it", Saul sighs giggling.
