"Are we studying today or are we having fun?", I ask my boys as I open the door to their room. I furl my eyebrows as I see that Riven is not alone but it's not my brother who's with him. "What's going on here?", I wonder. 

"You're not the only who's allowed in here", Riven shrugs and I look at him confused, "Beatrix, Scar. Sky's sister. Scar, Beatrix." Sky's sister, great explanation, I mutter in my mind. In comparison to Riven, Beatrix greets my nicely and stands up giving me a hug which confuses me as well. I don't even know her. 

"Hi, Scar", she smiles at me but somehow her smile seems fake to me. "Hi, Beatrix", I reply slowly. She sits down in front of Riven's bed and he shows her a picture. "Oh great, you make fun of a gay boy with a gif, really great", Beatrix reacts to this sarcastically, "You're so intelligent." 

Well, at least she has some respect towards others. "I don't think he's gay, maybe with a probability of eighty percent but it doesn't matter. He can be a cool guy even though he's gay." "So you're generous to help him by making him feel bad. Bullying in a nice way?" 

"That's the plan. Seems like my characteristics spoil you." "Who are you even talking about?", I ask not wanting to leave already and give this a try. I know Riven. He's not as bad as people think. He just acts like an idiot. I've rejected him many times so I shouldn't be surprised to see Beatrix here. We're friends so it's fine.

"Dane." "Oh, he's not gay. He hangs out with Terra", I reply smiling as I think they would be a great couple. He seems to be nice to her and I saw how she unintentionally smiles around him. Before someone can answer, my brother opens the door and doesn't look very amused. 

"Hello." "Oh shit, sorry", Beatrix says and offers him her cigarette but he refuses the offer. Why is she being instantly nicer to us? I didn't even recognize her at first because she's always by herself and looks so angry. "No, thank you. Smoking already?", he asks Riven, "That's not pretty smart, Riv. If Silva finds you and her-" 

"Beatrix, not her", the girl corrects him, "Beatrix." I furl my eyebrows. It's not like he wanted to disrespect her. She just didn't mention her name in front of him. "And Silva's is on the way as I found out. Some meeting with the military from Solaria. Ask your girlfriend." 

"You're dating the princes?", Beatrix laughs, "Oh shit. Isn't it weird to have sex with someone who looks just like oneself or is that just what keeps it exciting?" Well, she's got a point. "Soldiers from Solaria?", Sky ignores her comment focusing on the facts, "Then-" 

"The rumors seem to be right. They've got a burned one then. The jail in Solaria is a lot more safe. They probably transfer him there. But the good thing about this is that we have some free time thanks to this", Riven says and gets closer to Beatrix so I furl my eyebrows once more. My brother doesn't look amused as well. "That only counts for you. I'll go to the libarary", Beatrix replies and stands up.

"I will never be able to list you all of the reasons why I don't think she's a good person", Sky immediately goes on as Beatrix has left the room, "And what were you doing here, Scar? Don't tell me this is your new lifestyle otherwise I'll get you back to this guy who made you stay away from issues." 

"No need to snap at me, Sky. I just arrived a few minutes before you did. It's not like I like her. And I also don't get why you would just jump from one bed to another", I turn to Riven and give him an angry look. 

"It's not like you were doing the same before just getting back to me and my bed", Riven shrugs and I look at him sadly. We've talked about it. I wanted to take responsibility for hurting his feelings. 

"You're still hooking up?", Sky raises his voice pointing from Riven to me, "What are you thinking?" "Bro, calm down. You didn't have a problem with it last year." "Because there was no Beatrix and there were no joints and you weren't such a dick to my sister!" 

Hearing Sky's words make me realize how much time has changed and I feel like I didn't only lose Riven and I's sexual relationship but more importantly our friendship. I feel that I'm starting to lose control over my powers and I see the blue little lightnings around me which appear when I'm hurt and can't control myself. 

"Hey, Scar, no. Calm down, okay?", Riven tells me probably hoping to better the situation but I've lost my trust to him. This is why he gets a harmless but for a second hurtful electrical shock when he touches me. 

I first calm down and get back to my normal condition as I see him falling back into his bed from the shock. "Scar", Riven whispers disappointedly. He knows that only people who I don't trust or see as my enemies get this electrical shock when they touch me. 

I don't know a lot about my powers, but I've been through this many times and know how it works. Sky looks at me shocked as well. Not being able to withstand their accusing looks, I storm out of their room and run away.

"Looks like they've already brought him to the city", I state as I arrive at the barn as well and realize that it's empty apart from us. "Oh, no. No, no", Stella whispers, "My mom is going to kill me." "She's not going to kill you, Stel", I say not wanting her to have an even worse relationship to her mom, "I'll tell her that I lost it. She can't kill me."
