"Lessons only have to hurt mentally, not physically."

Today is the first day that finally feel a bit more normal. I still need to find a way to get Saul out of prison but at least I can see my mom after our lesson today. Bloom and I have decided to not use our magic when we're in Rosalind's lesson. 

All of the students stand at the stone circle in a circle with some distance between each other. Rosalind appears next to me. "Good morning, students", Rosalind greets us professionally, "I hope you're all ready for the new week. We've got a lot work to finish." Some students nod and others sigh. Our reactions are mixed. 

Rosalind takes a steps back and stands next to me now. "I've decided to let your mom stay here", Rosalind tells me seriously, "But you better stop being stubborn and use your magic. You're not wearing the bonds anymore and you've used your magic on innocent humans. That's a good sign." 

I look at her confused as she couldn't know about the bonds but she smiles at me triumphantly. "Did you think I wouldn't realize that you stole something? You better start working for your place in this school. Now that your family is together, we wouldn't want to make you leave." 

I know that she's trying to manipulate me and she knows that I know about her reasons for telling me this but I decide to play along for now. It's a lot more important to me to have my family back in one place.

"Ugh, can you be any less disgusting?", I interrupt Bloom's and Sky's makeout session during lunch break jokingly. Sky sighs, "You couldn't give us one moment, right?" "Let's say it's your penalty for making me find mom alone", I reply cheekily and laugh, "Have you talked to mom? Apart from catching up on anything that we couldn't do with her, she might be interested in getting to know you, Bloom." 

"Mom has spent the day with Rosalind and Andreas. I was told that I could see her after our training." "Okay, good. Just make sure that they keep their word. I'm not taking part in her lessons willingly." "Scar, you don't need to-" "Yes, I do. We both know that. I don't care as long as we can see mom." 

Bloom smiles at me knowing how hard it can be when your family is falling apart, "I'm glad you've found her. And Sky, you better help her!" "Fine, fine", Sky chuckles knowing that Bloom and I have built quite a good friendship, "I'll see you later."

"Scar, you're going to show Olivia around the garden while the specialists are training", dad orders me as I meet him and mom in the garden. Before we could say anything about it, he's left to begin his lesson. 

"Didn't you say that you are a specialist as well?", mom asks me confused while we're watching the lesson begin. "I was but dad threw me out of the specialists' lesson because I was too bad in the fairies' classes. He says I'm too weak as long as I don't do what Rosalind expects us to do in class", I tell her honestly not wanting to lie to her. 

"I'll talk to him about it. That's not fair, Scar, and it's not your fault. I know what's going on. Rosalind, Andreas and I have been talking and I can see how they are treating the students. I also saw Ben again and he told me about how they are treating you and Sky. He said you're a great specialist. I won't let you wait for Andreas to realize what your strengths are." 

"Thanks, mom", I smile hugging her tightly, "Do you want to watch dad's lesson? Sky can show you around the garden afterwards." „That's a great idea. I finally want to talk to Sky as well."

"The little prince and the achiever. That's going to be good", dad comments the scene as Sky and dane stand in front of each other and dad turns to Sky, "Who bleeds first. Afraid of your clothes getting dirty? Domestic science might be more interesting for you. Has Saul teached that? Did he wear an apron?" 

"Come on, let's just fight. We don't get hurt", Dane speaks up to Sky and plays with his sword before attacking Sky. Riven approaches dad and they talk about the fight. "I can't even watch this. Did anyone get injured seriously here? I don't want to lose Sky already", mom worries and I put my hand on her back to comfort her. 

"Don't worry about him. We get hurt from time to time but it's never been too serious. That's dad's way of teaching", I regret, "Saul has been the greatest teacher." "How was he doing when you visited him?", mom asks worriedly. 

"He looked bad", I admit remembering how much it affected me seeing him like this. No matter what has happened between us, I would always want him to be safe. I'll never forget how much he's been fighting for Sky and I. "I'll visit him, too", mom decides but I shake my head. 

"They already know I've fooled them. They won't let me in once more and you can't go without anyone. But I'll get him back here, I promise. You'll be able to see him soon", I promise mom and nods. She's already trusting me. 

That's what people are talking about when speaking of the mother-daughter-relationship. A mother loves their children deeply, she trusts them and loves them with everything that she's got and she's exactly this kind of mom.

"Sky!", mom exclaims and hurries over to him as Dane injures him. "He's such an asshole", we hear Sky complaining to Riven as he gets down from the platform. "Yeah, and he's your dad", Riven states and turns to us, "Hello, Olivia, Scar." 

"Hello, Riven", mom smiles at him and turns to Sky whispering, "Sky." "Hi, mom", Sky greets her unbelievingly and looks at me shocked as she pulls him into a hug. I wish he was able to see her first in a private place but he's just glad to see her at all. "Come on, you should get fixed up", Riven taps Sky's shoulder and comes over to me so Sky and mom can go to the greenhouse together while Riven and I stay here so they can finally be alone.
