no choice

"I don't care if I had no choice, it still makes me a monster."

POV Olivia:

"Bloom, what's going on here? Why did Saul storm out this quickly? And where are Scar and Sky?", I ask her when I finally find her in the school's hall. I've got no idea what's going on but I know that something serious must have happened when Saul stormed out without saying a word. 

Andreas isn't here. Our children aren't here. I need to know what's going on. "Sky and Scar.. They're looking for Beatrix. She's-" Bloom stops talking when Sky suddenly approaches us but I notice bruises in his face. 

"I'm so sorry, I should have been with you. I wanted to stop the blood witch and-" "You've saved my life", Sky whispers and hugs his girlfriend, "I thought I would make it. You broke the connection but only for a second." "It's okay. It's okay." Sky looks up and notices me. 

"Mom", he whispers and I'm afraid of what he might tell me. Bloom saved his life? "Sky", I whisper and pull him into my arms, "Sky, what's happened? Why did Bloom save your life? You told me there's a party tonight. And where are Saul and Scar?" 

"He was too strong, Sebastian was too strong", Sky cries into my shoulder and I gulp. This sounds serious. "How is Andreas?", Bloom asks Sky and he loosens his grip around me to look between us blankly. "Silva brings his corpse back to the school." 

"His corpse?", I repeat my voice breaking and I begin to cry, "Sky, where is Andreas?" Andreas was here with me just a few hours ago. They must be talking about another Andreas. "He wanted to kill Saul, he wanted to kill us. She had no choice", Sky speaks under breath, "She had no choice." 

"She?" I see some sparks appearing next to us and turn to the side. There's Scar. But there are many little lightnings around her and Stephen is carrying her. Her eyes have turned icy lilac. „Stephen what-" "Mom?" 

"I'm here, Scar. I'm right here", I whisper and when Stephen is about to put her down and Scar slides to the floor, I sit down next to her holding her head in my lap. "I need help", Riven shouts through the room, "Can someone help? I need help!"

While the girls storm over to Riven and Musa, I stay with Scar and Stephen knees down with us. "She had no choice, Olivia", Stephen mutters, "Andreas would have-" "No, Andreas wouldn't have hurt her", I shake my head feeling a tear streaming down my cheek. 

"Sebastian controlled him. He would have killed us all." "Please tell me that he's not dead", I beg bug Stephen looks down. "I can't." Thank god, Riven's coming here. Listening to his words, I am distracted for a second. 

"Scar, what happened to her?", Riven storms over to us as soon as Ben takes care of Musa. "She.. she.. Saul brings Andreas' corpse back", Stephen stutters, "She had to do it." "No", Riven says unbelievingly and lays his hand in Scar's. 

"Stephen, what's going on with her?", I ask him worriedly. I've never seen her like this. She looks unconscious but she was speaking to me a few minutes ago. Those lightnings all around her are scaring me as well. 

"I've got no idea to be honest", Stephen sighs, "She broke down when she.. you know. I think she lost control over her magic and needs to calm down." The only time I look away from Scar is when Saul enters the hall. I stand up and run over to him leaning over Andreas' body that Saul is holding. "Andreas, no", I cry and take his cold hand in mine.

POV Scar:

"Here", Riven mumbles holding a joint in front of me. I take it but give him a skeptical look. "Didn't you plan to not pull me down with you anymore?", I quote his words from earlier. "Well, you've killed your dad. I guess I can't pull you down no more", Riv jokes and I smile lightly. 

"Shit, sorry, I-" "No, that's exactly what I need right now. You always know how to cheer me up. It's just.. it'll take a lot more jokes this time", I nod slowly looking to the ground, "How about you give me some fire as well?" 

"Yeah right, you're not a fire fairy", Riven shrugs and gives me his lighter. "The look on his face.. I.. it's killing me. I can't think of something else. Dad wanted me to do it." "You're strong, S. You're going to get through this. It would have killed Sky if he had done it. You were absolutely selfless tonight." 

"How could I not? The cabin was full of people I love. I wish I hadn't lost anyone." "I can't tell you how shocked but also thankful I am for how you reacted when Andreas was about to kill me. I wouldn't have forgiven myself if you had sacrificed yourself for me." "But I didn't." 

"You were about to", Riven argues and I smile at him lightly. "How could I not?", I whisper, "Can we go back? I want to bury myself in a blanket." Riven nods and we go back to the specialists' house. As soon as we're in the room, Sky stands up with an empthy look on his face. 

"I know you had no chance", Sky whispers to me, "But can you just not stay here tonight? I can't think of something else than tonight with you being here." I gulp. My own brother can't look at me. "Come, S. Let's go back to your room", Riven suggests softly before I can even freak out about Sky's words. 

Riven pulls me with him but someone else has a problem with me as well. As we get back to the suite, the girls immediately come closer and ask about me but Beatrix stands in the door to Stella's room looking at me as if I had killed her. 

"You killed Andreas", Beatrix yells at me and stamps closer. Before she can do anything more, Stella holds her back and Riven throws himself in front of me. When Beatrix and Stella are back in her room, I ask the others about Musa. 

"She's still in the greenhouse but it looks like she's going to be fine again soon", Terra tells me smiling at me encouraging, "How are you and your mom doing?" "Mom", I whisper realizing that I don't even remember how I got back to school, "I don't know to be honest." 

"You were unconscious. Don't worry about it", Flora smiles at me as well, "She's got Saul by her side. You'll see her tomorrow." "Her and dad were just getting back together." "Come, let's lay down", Riven tells me and I nod and walk past the girls to my room. 

"Scar, wait up", Bloom quickly stops me, "I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have lied to you. You were right." "I made a mistake, too, and I'm sorry", I nod and turn around to lay down with Riven.
