Roseanne's POV
A couple days before people find out about her pregnancy.

"Rosie, are you okay? You don't look well, at all. You're really pale, well you usually are, but it's different." Layla said as she sat down next to me, it's rare to have Elina being so soft and care about you like this, she cares about us, but in order to 'keep her cool', she just doesn't show it.

"I'm fine Layla, thank you anyways." I stood up from the couch.

"No you're not, maybe you should take a break?" Aria walked over and gave me a glass of warm water. "Here, drink some water."

I nodded and took the glass in my hands, bringing it to my mouth and gulping down the water. "I'm fine, there's no need for a break. How have we been doing with the papers lately?"

They all gave me a look of disapproval. What did I say now? I really am fine, I might have been feeling a little bit sick in the mornings when I wake up and all, but I'm fine, really. "Roseanne, you look sick." Genevieve stood up and walked towards me. Great, I'm surrounded by everyone in this room, I guess I'm that popular, huh?

"I'm fine, why won't anyone believe me. I just, slept late. That's all." I actually slept at nine, which isn't that late, but they don't need to know that. I don't want to bother them with things like this, it's not really a big deal and they have their own problems that they need to take care of.

"Mhmm, sure you did. You've been sleeping late every single day for the past month." Layla scoffed. We all know you're a great observer and very smart, no need to rub it into our faces okay.

Giving her a frown and a glare, I placed the glass on the table. "Let's get to work, shall we?" I walked towards my desk a nod sat down, giving them all a smile.

          "I hate working." Layla groaned.

"Hi mom, dad," I faced the younger girl beside them as she beamed a smile at me. "Lianna." They insisted on me calling them mom and dad since we got married, saying that we are already a family, I just did a s they say. Since Lorenzo is a war right now, my in laws think that I am kind of lonely so we made a little deal that I would come over to their manor every Friday evening to have dinner, and if I want to I could stay here for the night.

But I never really stay here, there's no need to. And the bed back at home is more comfortable for me to sleep in compared to the ones they have here.

"Roseanne! We have your favorite for dessert today." She pulled me inside as a I flashed my in laws a smile.

"Lianna! Please don't pull your sister in law, okay? You might hurt her." I heard mom call out, I felt myself smiling. This is what it feels like to siblings, isn't it? It feels nice, but why does Lorenzo always seem so annoyed?

"Really, what's for dessert?" I asked, if they really made my favorite for dessert today then that would be wonderful, but how did they even know what my favorite dessert is, I don't remember telling them anything about it.

"We have flan and some fruits, Lorenzo told us before that you liked it, and since we haven't had it in a while, I asked our chefs to make some today." She smiled at me, I felt myself grinning as well, she's such a ball of sunshine.

"Well, thank you." I said.

Lianna chuckled in response, "Oh, come on. We're family, no need to thank me. Anyways, I've been painting the past few days, would you like to take a look? Give me some feedback too." She pulled me upstairs into her room.
