Lorenzo's POV.                                                                                                                                                                       (Back to the timeline in Ch. 24)

Everyone is in a panic right now. On the enemy's side of course. We have finally succeeded in raiding their camp, or rather, making them surrender. At least, we are just a step away from success.

It's cruel, it is, and Roseanne is probably going to be mad at me if I am like this on a daily basis. But this is war, and the people we are fighting are not our friends.

"Sir, our men have already taken down the guards on duty that are patrolling, should we precede to go forward with the plan?" Andrew came up to me. Well that was rather fast.

I looked at Romeo is is sitting behind me, still in the backseat of the car. I know, I should probably go in and fight with them, but that isn't really our job here as a general. We are supposed to let out commands and tell them what to do, we are basically their boss, minus the part where we give them their salary.

And this time, to prevent possible spies leaking out information on our plan, it is kept a secret until the very last moment, which is right now as to what they are supposed to do.

"What do you think?" I asked him. "should we go ahead and proceed?"

He thought for a bit. "Is the coast clear enough for us to go in? are their higher ups captured, or in confinement and watched?" he asked. Well, that is also one of our concerns.

"According to the report just now, they have only gotten their way into the camp, so the coast shouldn't be entirely clear and we have defiantly not captured their higher ups right now." He spoke. "Are you sure that their leading general is here at this moment?" Andrew added the question, indicated towards me.

"Eighty percent." I replied. "We went over this like two days ago. Why are you still asking this question?"

"Just wanted to make sure." he shrugged.

"You guys do know that if we mess this up, we are basically doomed." Romeo spoke and leaned his head back on the back rest of the car seat.

"I wouldn't say that, actually." I spoke. I actually don't, even if the general isn't here right now, we still managed to take down one of their main camps right outside the border. It's a win-win situation for us anyways. But one of the downsides is that we are basically declaring a battle right here right now with this country. "We still take over one of their main military camps outside the border of our countries."

"True, but we are declaring war, like all over again if you know what I mean." he responded to what I said. Again, I also agree with that. But everything would have a good side and down side to it, it just depends on how you see it.

        "I do."

"Okay, I know we are in the middle of an important conversation, but can you two please give me an answer to if you two are going to go into that battlefield right now because airmen are asking for a response now. The troop captains are asking for commands to how we should proceed after." Andrew crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"No." I Told him, "But tell them to capture or rather take care of all the men on the other side and try to take care of their higher ups. Check if their general is there right now."

"Yes sir." And he ran off towards the direction of the mission we are doing.

"You seem to be in a hurry these days, what's the matter?" Romeo asked me with his eyes closed and head leaned back, it feels like he would be sleeping, but this is just how he is in his free time.
