Lorenzo's POV
"Sweetheart, come here." I patted on the space beside message.
We just finished dinner with my grandparents. Yes, I decided that we should spend our honeymoon out here in the country side where my grandparents live. They live in a village near the sea and fields of lavender, and since it's blooming season, I thought that it would be perfect to spend out time here.
And there are also other flower fields near the village with other types of flowers. And by what I've notice, Roseanne loves flowers, I could tell by how she was talking so fondly about the flowers when we strolled through the gardens of our families. The gleam in her eyes can't lie.
There is a beach near here too, maybe we could go on a walk on the shore or take a swim in the ocean water. Summer's approaching and the water should be at the right temperature to be swimming in. And if I remembered correctly, this town is very populated, there are creative markets and farmers markets that she would probably like to visit.
"Would you mind explaining all this?" She sat down and crossed her arms in front of her chest, brows raised at me. She's trying to look intimidating, I could tell, but I feel like I'm being interrogated by a cupcake. She doesn't need to know that though.
"We'll, this village, or town is actually a great place to relax and go on vacations. They have great sights and since my grandparents live here, I thought that we could also use this opportunity to let you meet them." I spoke. "They're very likable people, right?"
She nodded with a small smile and swung her feet back and forwarding the air. A true child indeed. "They are very nice."
"You're one to talk, they were basically attacking me today because of you." I whined and put my head on her shoulder, wrapping my arms around her waist. It surprised me how I could just do that, I honestly feel disgusted by my whining. But it's for her, so it's fine. "They used to adore me."
She laughed. "We'll not anymore." You can tell she is joking.
"What do you want to do now, we basically have the night all to ourselves." I kissed her neck lightly. I could feel her body stiffened, this is exactly my plan.
"What do you want to do?" She breathed out.
"You do know that it's our honeymoon, right?" I asked her, which came out more like a whisper, hopefully not though.
"And does that have to do with anything we do?" She asked. I could feel my chest automatically start vibrating, the way she is so blunt when she talks is really hilarious.
"It does, if you really think about it." I nodded with raised brows. "But I was thinking about something else, if you know what I mean."
"How would I know what you mean?" She scrunched her brows frowned at me. Okay, I think she's just trying to act oblivious on purpose by now, she definitely knows what I mean.
"Okay, we're done." I stood up and tried to walk away. But I was stopped by something pulling my wrist, well looks like my plan worked once again.
"I'm sorry." She spoke. I turned around immediately, why is she apologizing? She didn't do anything wrong, at least I don't think she did. "Why are you leaving?" She asked.
I felt myself laughing again. Why is she looking like she is going to lose a game? Staring at me with her big, beautiful eyes. "I'm not going anywhere."
"You're leaving." She frowned at me. "At least take me with you." She mumbled to herself.
"Why? You don't want me leaving you?" I teased. I wonder why she suddenly became so, how should I say, dependent of me? Okay, maybe not so much, how should I say this, clingy?
