Lorenzo's POV

My eyes opened as the light shone through the window, I turned slightly to my side and smiled. Roseanne has her arms wrapped around me, she strictly told me that i shouldn't be sleeping around on my sides or stomach because I might tear something. I think I'll be fine though, but yet again, I'll listen to her.

I leaned down and kissed her lips as she stirred. "Hey......"She whined.

"Did I wake you?" I smiled. She's so fucking beautiful.

She shook her head, not responding. I guess she might have went back to sleep, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to join her. Looking over at the crib in the corner of our room, I also smiled. She's already awake, and being a great baby by not crying and screaming. Even god knows that Roseanne will immediately get up and tend to her needs, and I want Roseanne to sleep for as long as she can.

I unwrapped her arms and got up, walking over to the crib quietly.

And as I assumed, the baby has her eyes wide open. She looks absolutely adorable though, I just chuckled quietly and picked her up. But my eyes widened as she cooed, shaking my head at her I looked back at the bed before leaving the room. Glancing at the clock as I did so, it's 7 in the morning, so it's not that early.

"We don't want to wake mommy up, okay?" I smiled, rubbing my nose against the baby's face, making her giggle. It feels so weird that I just fell in love with a child I officially met about three weeks ago, maybe it's human nature, she is biologically my child after all. And I would like to protect her with my entire life.

"Hey," I sat down giving her a serious look, she immediately stopped. I want to laugh, but I need to get the message to her. "Stop being so cute and just be quiet, okay?"

She just stared at me, with the dumbfounded look that all infants give you when you try to speak to them. I just groaned at her. "Why are you looking at me like that huh? You know that I can't resist you, don't you?" I scrunched my face up and gave her a joking frown, earning cute giggles. I just laughed and hugged her tighter.

"Mommy woke up in the middle of the night to take care of you, huh?" She smiled, staring back at me. "You better be nice to her then, she spent a lot of time and energy taking care of you when daddy was away." She only blinked at me in return.

I was about to say something else when there were knocks coming from the door. Who is there and why the fuck are they here at 7 in the morning? Don't they know that we are still sleeping, well I'm not, that doesn't mean Roseanne isn't though.

I wanted to ignore it and pretend that we are all still asleep, but the knocks started again. Groaning, I took the baby in my arms and went to open the door. "This better be important."

"Hello?" I groaned opening up the door, but to my surprise, standing there were my parents with Lianna? They haven't really came to visit after I got home, except when dad came last week to ask about things, those were for military purposes though.

My mom only smiled as she saw the baby in my arms. "Hi cutie, you seem happy this morning." She said in the softest I've ever heard, the last time she spoke like that was when Lianna was 4.

"Um, I didn't know you guys would visit?" I said, opening up the door wider for them to come inside. I mean, that may have come out a little bit rude, but it's an honest question.

I looked over at Lianna standing on the side, looking as drowsy as always in the morning. I guess she was probably forcefully woken up by our parents so she could be brought here. I wanted to laugh at her state, but my parents will definitely scold me for it. Such fun being the youngest in the family, am I right?
