Roseanne's POV
We are on our honeymoon right now. Yeah, that's right, we are on our honeymoon! But other than traveling to other places together alone I don't really know what we are supposed to do. But apparently Lorenzo knows, at least that's what he told me, so I guess I'm going to trust him with this. It's not my problem that I've never had a honeymoon before.
I don't know where we are going though, Lorenzo decided that we will have this trip alone and he'll be the driver for the next few days. I guess it's great to give Andrew a break, the poor guy has been driving us around all day, everyday and Lorenzo still commands him to do things. Why can't Lorenzo drive his own cars though.
"Are you doing okay?" He turned his head to me and held my hand, as I was seated on the passenger's seat, the one beside his.
I nodded in response and motioned for him to focus on the road. Though car accidents are common, I would not like to experience one myself, ever. He grinned while looking back at the road which made me frown. Did I do something funny? "Why are you smiling like that?"
"Because I'm happy I have a beautiful and smart wife." He answered. And at that moment, I felt the butterflies awaken in my stomach as heat spread across my cheeks.
And I have to deal with him the rest of my life if I don't want to be looked down upon. Because apparently women who are divorced means that their husbands threw them away. Which is totally absurd! Why can't women have marriage freedoms?
"Are you shy again?" He asked teasingly, laughing again. Yeah, laugh all you want, I don't care. I looked out the car window, seeing fields of lavender beside the road. "I'm sorry, please don't be mad at me."
I smiled and looked back at him. "Where are we going?" He hasn't told me our destination yet, and surprisingly I also haven't asked him even though we've been on the road for hours already, with breaks in between of course.
"We're going to be having our honeymoon in the peaceful countryside, without being bothered by the public." I frowned, what does that mean? That didn't really answer my question because I could obviously tell this is the country side.
"That did not answer my question, but okay." I looked back out the window, admiring the sites and we drove by. Wait! If we are here for a couple of days, then where will we be staying?
"Where will we be staying?" I asked him without turning my head around. I don't want to miss out on the view outside.
I heard laughter burst out. What's so funny anyways? I sent him a glare, but that didn't stop him. Well what was I expecting, he's a general after all. "I'm sorry." He apologized. "You sound like you are about to throw fists at someone."
I frowned. "I do?" I asked, but more to myself.
He nodded. "But to answer your question, there is a house out for renting over here that an old couple runs, it's a small house beside their's and it's located in the village, which is much more convenient."
I pouted. "Why didn't you tell me earlier? I thought we were going to go camping in the wilderness just for a moment."
He smiled. "But you didn't ask, did you?" I sent him a glare resulting with him laughing again. "You know I wouldn't let you go out camping during this period of time right? It's honestly pretty dangerous to be out in the wilderness considering you never know when there might Charonian soldiers that passed the boarder and came in."
